Mihika's POV
"Ok, so, I have to go for some work." Avika said.
"I would drop you. Come..." Parthiv replied and took her with him.
Now, it was me and Abhinav.
"Mihi..." he called me.
"Yeah?" I looked up on him.
"I am really sorry to ask, but, I am worried about Miya. I have some work to do too. So, if you're free, would you mind be here? You can have dinner with us and I would drop you later on." Abhinav looked towards me.
"Sure, not a problem. I have no other case in hands as of now. So, it's fine." I replied while he gave me a quick hug and left awkwardly. That embrace was actually awkward.
I saw around. His room was really not maintained. I organized his room properly and went to make something for us two- Miya and me. I baked a cake even. It was evening. The bell rang.
"She must have come." I said and opened the door. She came inside and smiled at me.
"Where's bhai?" she asked me.
"He has gone for some work." I replied.
"And you?" she again asked.
"Stayed for you." I replied. She plastered a smile. She went to freshen up. I served the food.
"So, tell me, what's up for the meal?" she asked casually but later felt awkward.
"It's ok. You can always hold up on me. I am just like your Avika di." I comforted her. We ate in silence.
"So, what to do now?" I asked her.
"Let's watch one of bhai's movies. I have recorded them." she suggested, and I nodded. It would be fun to see Mr. Non-Arrogant's acting.
"But, I really want to ask something, shall I?" she asked hesitantly. I went by her side and smiled.
"Umm... Actually, you know Parthiv from a long time, right?" she asked me.
"Yes, why do you ask so?"
"To be honest, I like him." she closed her eyes in fear. I was stunned. What should I reply to her now?
"Parthiv is a person who has actually given his heart to someone, even I don't know who she is, but he has given several deliberate hints. And, I feel that you just admire him as a person. Liking in that way, it's still not your age. And, I don't even feel that you love him." I replied.
"I understand. But, then what are these feelings?" she asked me.
"Have you ever had a crush?" I asked her.
"Yes. Actually, I got your point. I just have a crush on him like I had once in the school." she felt it weird to discuss with me.
"You don't need to feel awkward, Miya. I also had a big sister, but she died. You can rely on me and maybe, I can also find a sweet sister in you, right?" I cheered her up and she embraced me. I don't know Abhinav, why people or the things related to you become so much important for me.
We were watching Abhinav's rom-com film which of course had a weird title, but the plot was up to the mark. It was some rain scene going between the female lead and Abhinav, the male lead. He touched her and I felt anger rising in me. He back hugged her and I felt like kicking him.
How can he touch her? And then, I realized- it's just a movie. But, why was it bothering me? I snapped my head towards Miya who was watching it intently. How dude? There's no chemistry. If I would have been there instead of that female lead, our pair would have caused fire in the scene due to our chemistry.
