Afterwards, class 3E's campus closed down for good. The principal had to relinquish his administrative rights. But I get the feeling he would've already accounted for that. He's a man of tough convictions and prodigious will. I'm sure he'll be working in education again somewhere soon.
The thirty-billion yen bounty was promptly paid out to us class 3E. Like Karasuma-sensei said, it was hush money, sort of-at least. We talked it over. After referring to Koro sensei's book of advice, The accomplishment's the thing! You can't grow up right if you keep living on scads of money! And so...we each took some as a down payment for our tuition and for living on our own, donated here and there to various places, then made one big-ticket purchase together. The rest we returned to the government in thanks for this year's support. Agent Karasuma's reputation is sure to rise.
The moon began to crumble, slowly but surely. Under its own gravity, it would eventually end up in a much smaller sphere than before. The explosion had also brought it closer to earth, so after a while, its size, shape, orbit, and gravity would start to look very similar to the way it was before the explosion. The crescent moon that symbolized our year together, would slowly forget its shape.
Bitch-sensei married Karasuma-sensei soon after and they worked in the Military Defense for the government. Kaede resumed her actress career and starred in the Morning TV show, Dragonfly. And my classmates returned to the classroom soon after to rebuild 3E campus.
(Kaede's POV)
It was a beautiful day. The sky was clear and I had already sneaked out on the acting off-set breaks to see the campus. Behind me, a shout rang through the clearing. Isogai, Meg, Maehara, Hiyami, Hara, Fuwa, Sugino, Chiba, all of them were waving. "Miss TV Drama Actress!" Isogai called out, grinning. Toka, in her pink jacket, smiled. "Good to see you, Kayano!" Meg, dressed rather formally with a suit-jacket, smiled warmly. Maehara waved. Hiyami, in rolled up sleeves, a vest, and jeans, stood with her head rested against Chiba, wearing a dark overall. Kimura and Koki were grinning, while Okajima was blushing at me.
"It's been a long time, hm?" Meg said as she wiped the windows. "yo, are you finished with reading Koro sensei's adive book?" Kimura asked Hiyami as they rebuilt the rooftop. "Nowhere near! It never ends, you know." she sighed.
"Boy, have you hit big time, Kaede." Sumire Hara said as she weeded out the garden. "Well, I'm just relying on my legacy in junior high," I replied nonchalantly. "and quit the low-angle shots, Okajima. Get to work." I waved my paintbrush in his face, brown paint splattering his shirt.
We agreed that we didn't need a grave; after all, it felt like Koro sensei and onee-sama were still there. It didn't feel like they were gone.
"Okano's using the back of the mountain. She formed an acrobatic squad in her sports college." Maehara said as we settled down in the classroom for a water break. "said this is the most familiar training ground to her."
"Kurahashi is giving nature tours to kids as well. She's always had her ways in getting pocket money."
We've all grown up just as Koro sensei taught us.
Look at Mayami and Takebayashi-taking hints from activation cell recipes in their advice books, they've researched artificial blood that can be transfused regardless of blood type. They called it "Rh slither blood".
Sugino became a college baseball ace. He named himself, "Slithery Sugino".
Terasaka's strengths had been recognized by a certain professor politician. Maybe he'll be a private secretary once he's out of college.
Takuya opened his ramen shop and Itona went to his father's company straight out of high school. Ritsu went completely online, doing parallel processing with computers all over the world. Kirara became a librarian, Nakamura went overseas to London, and Karma passed the level 1 national civil service exam.
Just them, a spray of cold water hit me. Okajima! I sprayed him back but he hid behind Meg and she got drenched instead. "Okajima....!" Meg began to attack the boy with water hoses. Isogai and Maehara joined in. Hiyami and Chiba exhanged glances and took off running to join the battle as well.
Koro sensei probably would've smiled and said the same thing. No matter what path we choose, it suits you. We learned so many different kinds of life in one year. And even now, they live on inside us...
"So...Kaede! Wht's up with you and Nagisa these days?" Hara grinned.
I blushed pink and said, "He's...I'm not on his radar these days. You know him...That assassin has always got his eyes on the target."
