The School Bully

Shayne's pov

For the entire night I've done nothing but lay in bed on my phone or staring at the ceiling. I usually don't sleep very well so I'm usually just on my phone all night until I can fall asleep. "Shayne get up for school!" My mom yells to me from downstairs. I started to sit up in my bed and move my neck around a bit then I started to stretch. I then stood up and walked towards my drawers. Once I got there I opened the drawers one by one to find some decent clothes to wear. After a couple of minutes of struggling to find clothes I finally found something decent to wear. I set the new clothes onto my bed and I start taking off the clothes I wore to bed. Once I got them  off I grabbed the new set of clothes and started to put them on my body. I then sat on my bed and started to put my shoes and socks onto my feet. Once I was ready I got up from bed and grabbed my backpack. I then grabbed my phone and walked out of my bedroom. I went down the stairs as fast as I could and ran out the door. Once I got out the door I started to run to the school since I was a little late from taking so long to get up. After a couple of minutes I was finally at school. I started to run inside and headed to my locker. Once I got to my locker I opened the lock to it and I put the things away that I didn't need. Once I had everything I started to run to biology thank God biology is close to my locker. I walked in the biology room and people started looking at me "your 15 minutes late Shayne topp!" I looked away from him and shyly said "I-I'm sorry I slept in" he rolls his eyes at me and crosses his arms "y'know what just take a seat Mr. Topp" I quietly sighed and I walked to the back of the room. I then took a seat and started to look at the teacher. He then turned twords the board and continued with the lesson. As he was teaching I just looked at my notebook and did tiny doodles all over the page. I did take notes though but definitely not many. After a minute or two the bell finally rang so everyone got up out of their seats, grabbed their bags and they left the room. When I left the room I tripped over something it was Damien's foot. Him and his friends looked at me and chuckled. As they laughed Damien said under his breath "pathetic." Him and his friends then walked away from me laughing. I then grabbed my things off the floor and slowly got off the ground. once I got off the ground I just started to walk to Geometry class.  I tried my best to walk past the crowd of people in the hallway. I soon got past them and I started walking up the stairs. As soon as I got to the second floor I walked to the Geometry room and I walked inside. Once I got inside the room I picked a seat and sat down. People then started to flood the room as the bell rang. There was a seat left next to me and Damien was the only was left so he walked to me and sat next to me. Damien then kicked my seat so hard to the point I fell out of it. The others in the room including him started to laugh at me. I slowly got off the ground and picked up my chair and sat down. I looked at the teacher and she was full of rage "that was unacceptable Damein!" He rolls his eyes at her "why should I fucking care?" He then scoffs. The teacher takes a deep breath trying not to scream at him. "Detention after school" "cool. I don't give a fuck" he says to her in a annoyed tone and she just rolls her eyes back at him. She then starts to teach the class and we all started to take notes. At some points I would stop paying attention to draw on the page but I mostly focused during class. After a while the bell rang for lunch "class dismissed. See you all monday" I then smiled at her and she smiled back at me. I then walked out of the classroom and so did everyone else in the room. Once I left the room I started to walk twords the cafeteria. I had a very hard time trying to walk past the crowd of people but I soon got through them. I then got to the cafeteria and I just found a table and sat at it...by myself. I then took out my phone and started to scroll through social media as everyone else in the cafeteria spoke to eachother. As I scrolled through my phone I looked up and saw a girl sitting across from me. She had beautiful greenish eyes and her hair was dyed purple. She smiled at me and said "hi, I'm Courtney Miller" the smile was still on her face "I'm Shayne Topp" and I gave her a small smile back "I'm so sorry I never introduced myself sooner." "Its fine don't worry about it" she smirks at me "would you like to be friends? I saw that you don't talk to anyone and I would love to be your friend" I gave her a smile "yes I would love too" she smiles back at me. I then looked around and saw Damien walking twords me "shit..." she looked at where I was looking "what do you fucking want Damien" Courtney says full of confidence "that's none of your fucking business now is it Courtney?" She then scoffs at his response and so do I. I looked at Damien's hand and saw he had iced coffee and he just opened it and dumped it all over me. "That's what I wanted to do" everyone in the room looked at me and started to laugh. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Courtney stood up and slapped Damien in the face. He then chuckles at her "I didn't even feel that. Your not strong at all Courtney" he chuckles as Courtney clenches her fists. "Come one Shayne were leaving" I then nodded and we walked out of the cafeteria. "I think I'm gonna go home so I can take a shower and get new clothes" Courtney then nodded "okay...I'm so sorry he did that. Why the hell would he do that?!" I looked away from her "to be honest I have no clue. He's just been bullying me since middle school" she then looks at me all sad "y'know what I'll come home with you and keep you company!" She then smiles at me "y'know what sure" I smile back at her and we start to walk out of the school. As we walked out I took out my phone so I could call my mom

Shayne- hey mom...

Shayne's mom- hi hun what's wrong?

Shayne- I'm coming home. Damien dumped coffee all over me. And my new friends coming with me.

Shayne's mom- I'm sorry that happened Shayne. I'll see you when you get home. I love you

Shayne- I love you too *call ends*

I then ended the call and me and Courtney started talking as we walked to my house. "I'm still very sorry he did that. He's such an asshole" I chuckle a little at what she said "yea, he is an asshole. He's always been a dick" Courtney then chuckles at my response and then just like that we were at my house. Once we got to the door we walked inside and Courtney closed the door behind us. "Is this your new friend" my mom says with a smile and I nodded "hi I'm Courtney it's nice to meet you" She says with a smile while giving my mom a big hug.
My mom smiles back at Courtney as she hugged her. After a second or two Courtney stops hugging my mom and he started to walk up the stairs and to my room. Once we got to my room I started opening my drawers to look for some new clothes to wear. After a couple of minutes I found some clothes and started to walk to my bathroom "I won't be to long" she then nods and I walk into my bathroom. I then closed the door and locked it. I walked towards my shower and started the water and got the shower ready. I then took off the clothes that were soaked in coffee and I walked into the shower. As I started to clean my hair and everything I felt a hand on my chin but no one was there. My heart rate started to go up and my face went a little red. I then felt the hand on my chin again "Damien..." I said under my breath "did I just-" I covered mouth for a moment then I finished up in the shower. Once I got out of the shower i dried my hair and put on my new clothes. I was finally ready so I unlocked the door and walked out then Courtney looked at me with a smirk "Courtney?..." she then started to look at me confused "yeah Shayne?" I then took a deep breath and got ready for what I was about to say to her "I think I might...have a crush on Damien I don't know..."....
