12. Memories part two

(Teddy POV)
I was storming out of the library after getting angry at Lilly for making me fail my potions assignment

I quickly made my way down to the Hufflpuff common room and avoided all eyes that were on me and just made my way to my dorm when I got there I quickly grabbed my school bag and sat on my bed drawing the curtains

I started rambling through my bag looking for a quill to rewrite my assignment when I found a odd piece of paper at the bottom I picked it up and with one glance I new what it was it was a picture of me and Draco asleep on the couch when I was 3 for some odd reason I remember that day vividly

(Flashback of the day the photo was taken)

I ran into the living room were Draco was sitting in a green sweater that I new was Harrys I was never found of Draco but at this moment he was all I had and deep down I new he loved me so I walked up fiddling with my fingers I was feeling very ill that day and just needed someone anyone

"Dwaco?" I said waddling up to him and he smiled down at me his eyes warm and loving

"He buddy what's up do you need something?" He asked a bit worried I was hurt or something

"No can I lay wif you?" I asked looking down and he scooped me up in his arms and kissed my cheek

"Of course you can" he smiled and laid me down by him we both soon fell asleep cuddling and was woken up by the flashing light of a camera

"Ugh Harryyyy" Draco whined rubbing his eyes and I yawned

"Oh sorry I thought the flash was off but that was just to adorable not to capture" and he smiled and laid right next to us cuddling in
(End of flashback)

I started fiddling with the photo when I saw writing on the back that I new all to well it was Draco's

Teddy
I love you so much I loved you than and I love you even More now you are a brave kind exceptional young man who I am so overly proud of I know I'm not your dad but you will always be my son
Draco

I read it all through about 4 times and found myself crying I was terrible to him and he still loved me

(Albus POV)
I was laying in my bed with the curtain closed when u heard Parker and Scorp talking I took a sip of my drink and took my nightly pill they were supposed to help with all the stuff going on and help with my heart rate I started to day dream about playing quidditch but my mind took a turn to a very scary and hard memory

(Flashback to when Albus was nine)
I was home alone with Scorpius and James while my dads were out with Teddy and Lilly I walked into the kitchen and saw James and Scorpius fighting about some thing James lost

"I KNOW YOU TOOK OF SCORPIUS" James yelled pointing a finger at Scorpius

"Umm guys-" I tried to intervene but they paid yes attention to me

"Why in the seven hells would I take your broom James I don't even like quidditch" he retorted in a bored mood

"Guys!!" I said a bit louder but still nothing

"I DONT KNOW MABEY YOUR JELOUS OR SOMETHING" james spat at Scorpius

"GUYS!!" I yelled and they both turned angrily

"What!!" The spat at me

"C-can I go play outside" I asked looking down and James sighed annoyed

"Yeah whatever" he said brushing me off and I smiled and ran outside I never really got to play outside because of my health so if I could get out there even a little it was nice

I started climbing up a tall tree so I could sit at the top about half way there I was getting extremely tired and hot I felt as if my bones were jelly and I felt my hands slipping and right before I fell I heard a faint cry that I new was my brother Scorpius "ALBIE NO" but it was to late I had fallen

Two weeks later I woke up in a bright lit up room and heard a faint sob by my side I looked to my left and saw my dad holding my hand crying into my papa's shoulder

"D-dad?" I croaked my voice raspy from not being used and his head snapped and his lips curled into a smile and he flung himself on me and quickly pulled away scared he hurt me and he moved my hair out of my face and kissed my head

"Pup oh my Merlin you scared us so bad how are you feeling? Do you want a water? Or a snack? Should I get a healer" he rambled

"Woah Draco your going to give the boy a heart attack" Papa laughed from behind him and dad backed up so he could see me "how are you feeling bud" he asked with a warm smile

"I'm feeling ok" to be honest I had a terrible migraine but if I said that I would be in St.Mungos for a month this was just another effect of being born pre mature and having asthma and diabetes it sucks.
(End of flashback)

I quickly snapped out of the trance and started falling asleep

(James POV)
I was sitting at my desk in my dorm staring at a family photo feeling like I failed all of them I was so terrible to all of them I new it wasn't me but I had built a defensive mechanism like a wall around my heart and I'm not letting anyone in so I don't get hurt

I tried searching my mind for a nice memory and found the perfect one to focus on

(Flashback of when James was 13)
I was walking down the hall of my house when I heard talking and laughing in the living room and walked in and saw my dads,Aunt Mione,uncle Ron, and Teddy and Vic watching a movie all together

"Umm hi guys can I umm can I watch?" I asked picking at my nails and shifting my feet and papa smile

"Yeah sure I think your old enough for this movie come on" he said patting the seat by him witch I quickly jumped on it for some reason I felt accepted
(End of flashback)

At this point I was in tears I quickly ran to the bathroom and grabbed a shaving knife and pulled down my sleeve staring at the dozens of scars and started adding more and more
