"So, Mister Evans. I'm sure there is something or someone that became your inspiration for the masterpieces you made?", the female interviewer asked the most popular painter in the country, Cameron Evans.
The male smiled, with a glint of sadness evident in his face. "Well, I had this childhood friend named Laurelia Ramirez.", love, longing and regrets filled his eyes.
The interviewer caught the emotion passed through the male's eyes, causing her curiosity taking over her. "Where is she now?", she asked.
"I can feel her presence everywhere.", the male answered with a smile, causing the interviewer to look in the four corners of the room. The male laughed when he saw the reaction she made. "What do you wanna tell her?", she changed the topic.
"I wanna thank her for everything...", he looked down, trying to fight the threats of his tears to fall. He sighed and smiled again. "Thank you for the love, you gave me when everybody turned their backs on me."
The interviewer felt the sadness of the man in front of her.
"I'm sorry for not being there for you when you needed me the most...", Evans whispered under his breath, making sure he was the only one to hear that.
"So your latest art was inspired by her?", one of the audience asked.
"It was her unfinished art, I just had to finish it because she asked me to.", he replied.
"Why?"
"Because she's gone far away before she could even finish it."
Because she died before she can bid her farewell to me.
