Alex whistled. He heard that the girls were abandoning their suite life for a life or normality. All because Fuutarou resigned from being the tutor of the Quintuplets. Luckily, Ichika was an actress, she was working. The Quints, Fuutarou, they arrived at Alex's doorstep. He was the one who had the house. Everyone? Seen in the living room. Wilson said to Alex: Dad? They can live with us.

Wali: Yeah can't they?

Wess: Please Daddy?

Alex: Well.

The Quadruplets: Please.....?

Alex smiled. He said to his boys: Alright. They can stay.

Quads: Yes! You guys hear that?! You can stay! You can stay!

Fuutarou: I can't thank you enough Alex. We'll each get jobs and pay rent-

Alex stopped Fuutarou. He said: I want you to save. All of you. Whatever you can spare, you can put it to the bills. I know you all want to repay my kindness, but I would prefer if you six save for your homes. Your college funds. Whatever you want to have in the future. Now there are three rooms. The boys share two rooms. So that leaves the spare room. You all can have that room for the moment. Sounds good?

Yotsuba: That sounds great!

Miku: It does.

Nino: Hmm.....Alex....

Alex: Hmm? What is it Nino?

Nino: I dunno what to say. I dunno to hug you or kiss you? I really want to kiss you.

Alex, blushing, replied: That will not be necessary. Besides, there is still competition. We don't want to upset them.

Nino cocked a brow: Competition?

Ichika: Yes. Competition. And you are looking at her.

Nino, in a moment of silence, eyed Ichika. Nino said: So, you are my rival now?

Ichika smiled: If you want to call me that dear sister. I love Alex as well. I love his sons. And frankly, I would make a better mother for them than you.

Nino laughed: On the contrary dear sister, I would make a better mother than you. And a better wife. Wilson says so. And since then he and I and the boys have gotten a better understanding. You can try if you want to, but do not be surprise when I win.

Ichika smiled more and replied: Same to you when I win.

Fuutarou, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki eyed the two sisters. Alex said: Now Now. Enough of that. So, lets get you all settled in okay? And from there, Fuutarou will lead the study group as usual. And I will get out the newspaper for the job hunting-

KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK

Alex: Someone's at the door. I better go see who it is.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Maruo: Ah. You must be Alexander Carter.

Alex: Can I help you?

Maruo: Yes. My name is Maruo Nakano. I am the father of the Quintuplets.

Alex: Did you follow them here?

Maruo: All to meet you young man. From my understanding you are a father too.

Alex: A father of 4 boys.

Maruo: 4 boys....At your age...I am impressed.

Alex: I heard that from others too. So you came all the way here to meet me?

Maruo: And to ask you for a favor.

Alex: Name it.

Maruo: Keep an eye on my daughters for me. I know Fuutarou is a good man. Yet, I cannot trust him as of yet. He has more trails to overcome. But with you around, I know he will succeed.

Alex: I see. You want to make sure that he is a fit for one of your daughters. be it Yotsuba or Miku.

Maruo: Itsuki as well. She will not admit it, but she too has feelings for Fuutarou.

Alex: Ah. Well that doesn't bother me at all. Its her heart and she can give to whomever she will.

Maruo: I heard that you are a welder and a blacksmith.

Alex: I am. I also go to high school like the others and raise 4 boys. Attend their school meetings and events.

Marou: And you never tire out from all of that?

Alex: I get my sleep in places unknown to others. And I was known to have tons of stamina. Yet I am like any other man. I fall short. I give up. I cry. nevertheless, like you, I keep going. For my boys. Because no one is going to train them and give them the courage and strength to be men like I will.

Maruo nodded in agreement. He said: You are right. Becoming something more to inspire your children is not an easy task. I have heard that Nino and Ichika have affections for you. Is that true?

Alex: Sire, you know that is it true. But I will not ask for their hand unless you approve it. I know men like you. I am one of you. I too am a father like you. And as you are aware, I want what is best for my boys. Whoever I am found worthy of being my wife, and mother to my sons, will be in the hands of God and not of my own. For he made my path. And I must walk in it. For that is what real men do, when they are given the call.

Maruo: Yes. When they are given the call. They must answer.

Alex nods.

Maruo: You are wise for a young man.

Alex: Young man? Heh. Maybe when I was 12. But I am coming in age. And you something, I am happy about it. Because I know my best years were given to those who will carry the mantle when I am gone. *Sighs* Its a beautiful concept. One that many parents take pride in.

Maruo: Agreed. Well. I am glad we came to an understanding of another. You will look after them, correct?

Alex: As though they are my own.

Maruo: Very good. I expect great things from them. From Fuutarou. From you. Do not disappoint me.

Alex: I can give my best, and pray to heaven above that it is enough. Whether it is or not to you, I leave that in your hands.

Maruo smiled. He shook Alex's hand before departing back home.

Wali: Hey daddy? Who was that man?

Alex replied: Your future grandfather kiddo.
