This is set in an AU where Protag is staying with the Aftons and Mama as well as the Nightmare animatronics had been dismantled, but the boys still have trauma.

The clock clicked passed 2 am, and Mrs. Afton starred at C.C's bed which was pilled with blankets and pillows, with two boys buried in it. It was the same thing as always, Protag was having another nightmare that was preventing the child from closing their eyes.
C.C's room is always the room Protag goes to when he can't sleep. C.C had took Protag's blankets from the guest room he was staying in and placed them over them in his bed, Protags bunny plushie was in his hand cuddling into it but it had been replaced with C.C's chest and soon slipped off the bed.
The two boys soon were able to slip off into sleep cuddled against each other, C.C's hand draped in Protag's hair from when he was stroking it to comfort the smaller boy. Protag's face laid in C.C's chest and his arms as well, C.C had wrapped his arm around Protag tightly.
Mrs. Afton gave a faint smile as her feet quietly tapped against the wooden floor as she shut the door and left the boys cuddled up.
