Ben and Jerrys?

The drive home was one of the worst drives in my life. Almost got into 2 car accidents from blurry eyes and a runny nose.

Parking the car infront of our house i get out. Looking up at that house I take a deep breath and walk in.

As soon as i set foot into the house Tommy runs up and jumps up at me almost knocking me off my feet. I wasnt really in the mood so i pat his head and walk to our- I mean my room.

Tommy stays a bit and sniffs the hair and whimpers a bit when he realized he wasnt with me. So I call tommy up and we watch tv until its time to walk him.

About 5 minutes into the dog park all I see is owners of smaller dogs look at Tommy with disapproval and disgust and leave. I never understood the hate people have for pits. They dont attack for no reason you know.

Since no one was there i let him off the leash and just stare at my hands..

**Flashback**

"Okay babe we're almost there" i hear him say. I cant help but to giggle a bit. I feel the car turn and slowly come to a stop. I hear the car door open and close and then mine opens.

"Watch your step baby we're here" I feel the corner of my lips tug up into a smile as he guides me out the car.

I start to hear barks and whines so im assuming we're at a kennel but he said he didnt want a dog...

He takes the blind fold off of me and all I see is pit bulls everywhere. I get excited so I let out a shriek and wrap my arms tight around his neck.

I start to notice all the dogs have scars and stuff like that, turns out they're all rescue dogs.

Looking around we go back to the puppy section and they're all together. But one particularly catches my eye. He was soo skinny and looked so alone, so naturally I ask about him. The guy just said he doesnt like eating and doesnt really like anyone who comes to see the dogs.

I reach my hand out for him and he moves back at first but then sniffs my hand and starts licking and moving around like he wanted to play.

I bite my lip, and look up and I swear there was a light in my mans eyes. Just looking at him and the way he looked at me made me lose my balance.

We took him and named him tommy because I don't know he just looks like a Tommy...

I return from that flashback when I hear my name being called. Turning around I see my bestfriend Maria.

I guess my eyes were blood shot cause just one look at me and she said "Ben and Jerrys?"
