who would thought
that being wrecked
can still be beautiful?

the moment i saw
some glint of tears
in your galaxy-like eyes,
i felt nothing but
be amazed of
how you manage to keep those
under your eyelids.

the moment i glanced
at your scar-filled body,
i was indeed mesmerized
of how you looked so radiant,
if it doesn't have stitches,
i might think
that those were just
constellations which
accidentally landed on you.

who would thought
that a ruined dome
can be breathtaking?

who would thought
that dead falling stars
can be eye-catching?

darling, i never believed
that being wrecked can be exquisite,
not until i saw you
and realized that you're such a bewitching.
