All I Wanted Was You

chapter 5

The following day, which was a Sunday, I remembered I had a chilling day with Mia so I had to get a lot of things we would eat since we both loved food. I bathed and went downstairs to cook.

After preparing spaghetti and meatballs, I dished up and waited for Mia, knowing she's close.

*knock knock*

"Hey Mia." I greeted her with a smile and a hug.

"Hey girl." She hugged back and walked in.

"Sit tight. Imma go grab our food alright?" I said as she sat down in the living room. I came back with our plates and I could tell her mouth was watering.

"This looks good." She smiled pointing the food with her fork and dug in. I laughed at how she shoved her food, she really was a foodlover. We spoke and laughed for hours amd decided to watch netflix after.

"Don't you thinkMr. Smith is hot?" She said as she looked at me from the corner of her eye and back at the movie.

"Why would ask that?"

"No nothing, I'm just thinking."

"Well, he is good looking... I guess." I shrugged.

"You guys are pretty close hey." I stopped tge movie and turned to face her.

"Mia.. what's going on?" I asked curiously.

"It's just that student talk you know, and their talking may be heard by the wrong ears...like the principal." She said.

"What have you heard." I asked as I was freaking out.

"Well, you were seen entering Mr. Smith's  house some time ago." Mia let out.

I sighed in frustration. "Now everyone thinks I'm sleeping with him?" I ran a hand through my hair and Mia nodded. "Oh no. This can't ne good Mia."

"Well, it's not true, is it?" She said.

"Of course not!" I stood up and paced.

"Relax... just keep your distance from him and everything will be alright." I nodded and sat down again. I kept on thinking about what Mia had just told me... I shouldn't be worried right? It's just rumours..... right?

"Alright. This was fun hey, but I gotta go now." Mia stood up from the couch.

"Okay. Let's do it again sometime okay?" I smiled sheepishly bothered by what Mia had said. My self esteem dropped as I thought about all what people were saying amd thinking about me. This disgusted me.

I cleaned up after Mia walked out the door and went to my room. I took out my books and began to study. Books were the only things to make me take mind off things.

After 2 hours of studyingand reading, I took out my cellphone and scrolled through my instagram. My eyes popped out and I gasped at a picture of me on instagram.

"Slut sleeps her way to good grades." The caption said. 'Shit!' I thought to myself. The post had already reached 600 likes and pending. That was half of the school and neighbours.

I snugged under my bed and  I cried. I felt so dirty.

After alot of crying, I stood up and went yo wash my face in the bathroom. I heard a knock on the door and went down to open up. It was Jade. "I saw it." He begun before pulling me into a hug.

"I'm so sorry." He said again. He was so close I felt his warm breath on my scalp.  We hugged for a few minutes before pulling apart with my face down. I let out a breath I didn't realise I was holding before facing Jade. "How am I ever going to get through this?" I asked as tears streamed down my face.

"C'mon now. Please stop crying." He wiped away the tears on my cheeks. "This toi shall pass like everything else. You are Angela Petersen okay? Nothing keeps you down." He looked straight into my eyes. His eyes were fill of sorry and concern.

"Could you spend the rest of the day in?" I said to him.

"Fine.. let's go to your room." He said as he pointed upstairs. We went to my room and I tugged myself back into my blankets. He then took of his shirt and pants before joining me. He wrapped his arm around my neck and I rested on his chest. This felt so intense.

After a few minutes of feeling warm breath against my scalp once more, I heard his soft and silent snore. I looked up to see him sleeping so peacefully. His chest was so broad and he was simply just muscular but not in an exaggerated way. I looked at his relaxed face before taking a snap and laughed quietly. And before I knew it, I was fast asleep.

I woke up to the sun shining through the curtains and into my closed eye lids. I turned to face Jade who was still asleep. "Jade!" I said softly as I was pulling his bottom lip with my fingers.

"Mhhhhhh." He groaned with a slight frustration in his voiced.

"Get up you big bear." I freed myself from his arms. "We need to get to school." I said.

"Imma go shower in the bathroom and you can take mine so that mom doesn't see you." I stood up. I took my outfit out of the day and made my way to the bathroom.

I came back to the room and noticed that Jade was still showering. "You done?" I shouted, just to make sure I'm safe to take off my towel.

"Nah." He responded and I stripped of my towel. I pulled my panty and wore it when the shower was turned off. Oh shoot! He's gonna see me naked!' I thought to myself as I grabbed my bra so quick so fast and wore it.

He stood out of the shower and his body was steamy. I guess his temperature was high.

"Oh.. someone had a sexier body that i anticipated." He laughed.

"Shut up and turn around." I threw my towel at him. He turned with his hands in the air like he was surrendering or something. I got dressed quickly and told him I was done.

"Alright I'm done... you can so long wear your clothes from yesterday, come downstairs for breakfast coz I think mom has left and after that you can go home and wear new clothes." I said as I got out.

I went downstairs and my mom, just as I thought, had left already. I took out a bowl and made cereal becauseI was lazy to make anything fancy. After a few minutes, Jade walked downstairs and joined me.

"Finally done?" I stood up and took out a bowl for him.

"Yea...I'll just apply my body lotion and everything at home." He said. I slid the bowl to his direction along with the cereal box and the jar of milk.
