avengers pride (part 1)

so I wrote this self indulgently. it might be bad but ill try to put up more parts to this one shot. if you have any requests please ask. no hate. there will be a mini rant at the end of the chapter, so be warned.

Peter woke up excited. It was finally pride month! He couldn't wait to show the world that spider-man fully supported and was a part of the community. The boy couldn't wait to ask the other avengers to help him with his master plan. Part of him was a little worried about how his parents would react, but nothing could dull the excitement he was feeling.

He got up carefully, gently shaking his sister awake. Zia groaned, squinting her eyes at him. She buried her face back in her pillow. "What do you want?" came her muffled voice.

"It's June! The other elementals will be here soon so that we can plan."

Immediately Zia began to unwrap herself from her blanket, taking a moment more to enjoy its warmth before she got up and made her way to the closet of their shared bedroom. Of course they didn't have to share a room but they liked to, that way they would easily be able to find comfort in each other when necessary. "What do you want to wear pete?" came the young doctor's voice from across the room.

"Can we wear the strawberry dresses?" called the younger spider excitedly

"Of course," Zia laughed lightly. "Do you want the black one or the pink one?"

"Pink?"

"Of course."

The group of young heroes referred to as the elementals, or rather that was the name of their secret team they had made.( With 4 floors plus a lab floor (that were accessible only by them and those who had permission) in the tower, they had a pretty dope base of operations). They were meeting about the plan they had made.

"Alright you two, what's your plot?" percy asked, pulling peter carefully into his lap.

"So we thought... we could make some suits with the colors of our flags?" zia said, although it sounded more like a question.

"That sounds great! We could all make our own," said Magnus, bouncing happily at the idea. There was a chorus of agreements from the group. Alex was nodding with her head in magnus' lap, Annabeth and MJ were quietly talking to each other. Loki was ecstatic with the idea that he might be able to show off and look fabulous while bucky was reserved and nervous. Percy was nodding with his face buried in Peter's neck. The lesbian group, -consisting of shuri, zia wanda and natasha (annie is pan and mj is enbi and bi)- were watching amused with the group' excitement.

They continued excitedly planning, deciding it was best for the two stark-stranges to talk to the rest of the avengers about their idea. Just as they had finished FRIDAY spoke up, 'steeb has asked me to inform you that it is breakfast time, and that he made waffles.'

"Thanks fri!" almost all of them replied, getting up and heading to breakfast.

"So you want to go in custom suits to the pride parade to make sure everyone knows that their heroes are also queer as fuck? And you wanted to know if the rest of us would like to join in? Well I'll definitely come too." Zia and Peter had explained their idea over the meal, and it can go without saying that all of them were down. "Also side note you kids look adorable in those dresses.'' Peter got flustered at his fathers words, which seemed to amuse everyone else present.
