“Come onnn. You need to study!” Norman whined trying to drag me over to the bed which contained various textbooks that were supposed to be helpful for finals.
By now I’ve learned that nothing the teachers give you to study for finals actually have anything to do with what’s on the finals.
“There’s no point. None of the stuff we were given to study will actually be of any help when the finals come around.” I pointed out and stood my ground not even wanting to go near the horrible books filled with random, dumb stuff that I will never need to know in life.
I like reading and all but there’s a difference between reading about a hot teenage boy who’s the son of a Greek God (aka Percy Jackson) and reading about molecules and mitosis and cells and basily a bunch of shit I couldn’t care less about.
“How would you know? Have you seen what the finals for all four of our core classes look like?” He asked with a brow raised.
“Well- no.” I faltered. Norman chuckled and started pulling me over to the bed again. “Come on, it’s not that bad.” Norman said and I did my best to get him from bringing me towards all the textbooks and study guides and worksheets. In the last attempt I dropped to the ground and pulled my knees to my chest.
“I’m not doing it.” I mumbled. Norman got down on one of his knees and gave me his beautiful signature smile. “Why not?” He asked fake pouting. I lifted my head up to meet his eyes, his beautiful deep blue eyes that I could just get lost in.
I felt my face heat up slightly but with my knees pulled up to my chest and my arms on top of my knees my blush was mostly covered. “Because it won’t make a difference whether we study all day or watch movies.” I defended.
Norman removed my arms from in front of my face and in a swift motion pulled me up and threw me over his shoulder. “Norman what the heck!” I exclaimed, wiggling around in his grasp.
“You won’t know if it makes a difference or not until we take the finals. Besides, we were supposed to start studying two weeks ago, not the day before the first final.” Norman explained.
Only one of Norman’s hands was holding onto me to make sure I didn’t fall and it was resting on the upper back of my thighs. Norman walked over to the bed and carefully put me down on it. “Just two hours of studying, please?” Norman said, looking at me with puppy dog eyes.
He looked so cute and I felt my face heat up a little and turned my head in the other direction so he couldn’t see. “Are you okay?” Norman asked and used his hand to turn my head back to him. Norman got really close to my face so we were only a few inches apart.
I felt like my face was on fire right now. “Y-yeah. I’m g-good.” I gulped. Norman tended to have a really bad sense of personal space. Norman backed away from my face and I let out a sigh of relief.
“Is my breath that bad?” Norman joked as he pulled out both of our History study guides. “N-no. And you get an hour and a half at most.” I said and started to look over the questions in the packet.
Some of them I knew the answer to and others were completely foreign to me, it was nothing that was ever gone over in class. On questions like that I simply took an estimated guess.
It was 2:34pm right now so I’ll be free from this hell at 4:08pm.
Time skip because studying sucks
(also I’ve never had finals so if anything about them is incorrect here that’s why and i don’t care so don’t comment it)My eyes shifted over to the clock that was resting on my nightstand...4:07. “Okay, you got your studying time in. Now can we please do something else. Like anything else?” I said setting my pencil down and shifting my attention to Norman. Norman set his pencil down, looked at me,looked at the clock, and looked back at me.
