A bigger -yet pretty- woman came rushing down the stairs to where her cat, Jazz, was whining. Jazz was having kittens! A younger, slimmer girl came in only a few feet behind the woman. The younger one appeared to be a teenager and it was a fair guess to say the other female was her mother. They both ran closer toward Jazz's cat bed and bent onto their knees. "Lindsey, the day has come!" Said the mother to her daughter with a from on her round face. "Lindsey" was a very beautiful roof woman. She had long brown hair flowing like a river ask the way down her back. She was a little pald and always wrote the brightest of colours (yes, with a "u". I am canadian). Her hazel eyes were sealed with long, fluttery eye lashes.
Her mother on the other hand....
Her name was Elisa (uh-lize-ah). Her hair was a darkish brown with several strands of gray hairs. Her hair was up in a small, messy bun. She wore a nightgown as it was only 6 in the morning. Lindsey never bothered with pajamas so she slept in her daytime clothing. Jazz let our a high pitched groan as she have birth to her first liter. Out came a small kitten and then out came 4 more. Jazz instantly stopped complaining and started to lick her kittens clean.
"Mother, they are so beautiful!" Lindsey said with her hand to her heart.
"Hmm", Eliza hummed looking at the smallest kitten. "The runts are always worth the least..."
Lindsey glared at her money-hungry mother. "What are you talking about, Mother?"
Without a word, Eliza picked up the small kitten and wobbled out the backdoor.
"Mother no!" cried a teary-eyed Lindsey.
Before Lindsey could catch up, Eliza came back toward the door.
"Where's the kitten??" Lindsey asked nervously.
"It'll go where it wants to go." She said coldly.
Lindsey started to cry and attempted to get through her mother who was blocking her way. Eliza shooed the crying teen back into the house and closed the door leaving the small kitten clueless and alone...
