George has always had trouble making friends, he always feels like he doesn't fit in and feels awkward around others. But one day a new popular guy comes to school, who is obviously drawn to George... to help...
"U-umm n-no thank you." George said trying not to sound nervous and looking down at his feet. "Uhh I'll find it my self..." "Oh okay! Im Dream by the way." The boy said reaching his hand out to shake George's. George hesitantly reached his hand out to meet Dream's. As soon as their hands touched George's face turned bright red, he had never "held" someones hand before."I'm new here, I just moved here from London to go to collage." Dream said breaking the silence. George had totally forgot he was still holding onto Dreams and quickly dropped his hand. Dreams hand hit the table with a big.
THUMP
"Ouch." Dream said rubbing his hand.
"Oh my gosh! Im so sorry." George said flustered and still looking at the ground.
"It's ok don't worry about it!" Dream said bursting into laughter. George couldn't help but laugh, Dreams laugh sounded like a tea kettle. "Anyways so I never got your name." Dream asked curiously.
"George, it's George." He said quickly hopping he wouldn't have to say it again.
"Well hi George, nice to meet you!" Dream said happily. "Are you sure you don't need help finding anything, you've been standing here looking at the ground for a while."
"WHAT?! I have not!" George defensively, and when he talked you could her his British accent.
"Wait I didn't know your British too!" Dream said surprised.
"Oh yea, I moved here 4 years ago."
"Thats sick! I had only lived in London 2 years so I didn't really pick up an accent." Dream chuckled.
DING, DING
Both Dream and George turned towards the door at the same time, and to George's surprise it was Sapnap.
Out of breath Sapnap quickly burst. through the door of the small grocery store . "GOGY! Where the heck have you been! It's literally been an hour, I thought you died!" Sapnap hadn't even noticed Dream's presence yet, he was too out of breath. "And you didn't even get the cleaning supplies yet. What the heck have you been doing?" He said lifting his head up, and thats when he saw Dream.
"Awww Georgie! Is this your boyfriend?" Sapnap said teasingly and then bursting out into laughter.
Both George and Dreams faces turned bright red, and a small smirk grew on Dreams face. "Actually yes I am." Dream said jokingly, and George had the most shocked red face ever.
What the heck was Dream thinking, they had only just met and would likely never see each other again. Why would Dream make this up. Both Sapnap and Dream stared at George waiting for his answer.
"W-WAIT NO HES NOT! HES JOKING!" George yelled defensively, looking at Dream then to Sapnap.
"Oh Georgie you don't have to lie to me, I'll just get the cleaning stuff while you flirt with your boy friend. Also what is your boy friends name?" He said while walking towards the back of the store grabbing two packs of gum(blue raz and green apple BAHAHAA) from the counter next to George.
"Oh yea, my names Dream."
"Sorry about him." George apologized making sure Sapnap was far enough away so he couldn't hear him.
George had always been afraid and nervous to meet new people but when he met Dream he felt different. He was still nervous and afraid but he also felt happy, curious and also couldn't look at him in the eyes. When he was talking to Dream he felt safe and comforted unlike others, where he felt like he didn't fit in.
"Well nice to meet you Im Sapnap, George's roomate." Sapnap said while dumping a bunch of cleaning supplies on the counter, pushing George out of the way.
Dream and Sapnap talked as Dream scanned all of the stuff. If random someone walked in you wouldn't even be able to tell that Sapnap and Dream had just met, it looked like they had been childhood best friends. Dream was noticeably taller than Sapnap and towered over him.
George was pulled out of his thoughts when Dream said. "Anyways that will be $28."
"Gogy do you have your wallet I forgot mine." Sapnap asked.
"Oh yea one sec, how much again?"
"$28"
George pulled out his wallet and to his surprise he only had $25. "Uhh I only have $25..."
"Don't worry about it guys, I got you." Dream said taking the $25, and with a few pushes of the buttons on the cash register they were ready to go.
"Bye Dream!" Sapnap scooped up all of the stuff leaving only a paper towel roll and Clorox wipes for George to carry. George quickly grabbed the things that Sapnap left, and left the small store without saying goodbye to Dream. But even though he didn't want to he couldn't help but look back to see Dreams reaction, and when he did he saw Dream looking right at him smiling and waving him goodbye, George couldn't help but smile.
And that night George couldn't stop thinking about Dream. There was something about him that really intrigued George maybe it was the boys beautiful green eyes or the guys fluffy blond hair and freckles, or maybe his tall muscular figure or maybe his sense of kindness and his personality. But even though George had just met Dream, he couldn't help but hope he'll see him again.
