My Brothers Best Friend (A Taylor Caniff fanfic)

Chapter 3

*Erica's POV*

Tomorrow we were going to leave for Magcon, and I have to admit...I'm kind of excited. Not because I'm going with my brother, but because I'm going with all of his hot friends. Later that night, after Taylor left I actually talked to Matt. I asked him what it was like and how many people were going. He showed me pictures. All of the guys were good looking, but none as hot as Taylor. I guess I kind of liked Cameron though... Anyway, last night my brother and I actually bonded for once, it was actually kind of fun. But anyway, since tomorrow we were leaving, my mom let us stay home to pack. It didn't take long for us to pack so we just chilled at the house for the rest of the day. Matt and I watched Family Guy and we took pictures and posted them to Instagram and Twitter.

After 43 seconds of it being posted I got 386 re-tweets. At one point I got really bored and decided to text Taylor.
Me: Hayyy Tayyyyy!!😂
Tay Tay😍: hey babe, what's up?
He just called me babe! Did that mean something or am I overreacting?
Me:nothing. Just sitting at home with Matty Poo.
Tay Tay😍: oh cool, can I come over?
Me: sure!
Tay Tay😍:Okay cool. I'll be over in a couple minutes.
Me:See you in a bit!

"Hey Matt, umm Taylor's coming over". I told Matt, who was on Twitter.

"Did you invite him?" He asked, looking up from his phone for once.

"Ummmm, yeah...why?" I replied, a little confused.

"Is there something going on between you two that I should know about?" He asked suspiciously.

"Matt. Calm down. We just met yesterday. Doesn't he have a girlfriend anyway?" I said trying to sound casual, but really in my head, I was dying to know.

"No. He hasn't had a girlfriend since seventh grade." Matt replied, typing something on his phone. Just then, there was a knock on the door.

"I'll go get it. It's probably just Taylor."

I got a grunt back from Matt as I walked to the door.

"Hey!" I said. Taylor was looking gorgeous in his tie die muscle tee and red bandana.

"Hey." Taylor said back, putting his arm around my shoulders. Well that was random...Matt came out of the living room and looked from Taylor's arm to my shoulder, looking kind of annoyed.

"Hey bro, what's going on?" Matt asked Taylor, walking into the kitchen.

"Nothing much. Just being bored out of my mind. You excited for tomorrow?" Taylor said, his arm still draped around my shoulders.

"Yeah. I can't wait to finally see all of the guys again. Oh, and don't forget about Mahogany." He said, giving a small chuckle.

"Who's Mahogany?" I asked, wondering if Matt had a secret girlfriend.

"She's the only girl in the group. You'll be sharing a room with her." Matt replied, making a pb&j sandwich.

"Oh..." I said, giving Matt a wink.

"No. She likes Jacob." He replied quickly.

"Okay." I said as I went to go sit on the couch, which made Taylor's arm fall from me.

We sat down while Matt ate his sandwich and watched more family guy. It was almost 6:00 when my mom got home.

"Oh hi Taylor, I didn't know you were here." She said setting her keys on the counter.

"Oh yeah, I really have to get going. Ya know, gotta wake up early in the morning. I'll see you, Mrs. Espinosa. "

"Bye Taylor." My mom replied.

"Bye Matt, and bye Erica. I'll see you tomorrow." He said.
Just so I could see, he winked at me and walked out the door.

"Okay guys, I'm going to hit the bed too. See you in the morning." I said, standing up, and walking to my room.

Just as I was about to fall asleep I heard a song coming from my phone. It was Taylor.
Tay Tay😍: I had fun tonight. We should do it again some time.
Me: yeah, we should.
Tay Tay😍: no. I mean, like on a date.
Oh my gosh!!!!!yesssssss!!!!!!
Me: Yes!❤️
Tay Tay😍: okay. I'm glad you said yes!😘
Me: Okay. Good night.💤
Tay Tay😍: Sweet dreams, beautiful.
I fell asleep, replaying the day in my head and smiling to myself.
