It was a boring day for Amelia, she had done all of her projects, experiments, and her priorities. It had been a rough time for Amelia as she had lost a ton of friends, then fell ill recently and had to stay at home from work. It was pretty bright and cool outside so Amelia thought it would be nice to go and pick some of her roses and bring them in to brighten up her house a little bit and to boost her mood. She put on her slip-on shoes and slowly walked outside, blocking her eyes from the soft rays of the sun that fell on her her light blue eyes, making them more of a piercing white color, walking across her yard, she gently picks roses of all colors like pink, red, yellow, and blue. Amelia seemed to enjoy breathing in the sweet air after being in her house for so long, she then walks back into her house and sets the roses in a vase in front of a table that was propped in front of a window, she gently sat down and goes into deep thoughts about her recently misfortune. "why are you so terrible?" was the last question her friend, jane asked her, she felt the same sinking, aching pain in her chest from the first time she had heard those words come out of Jane's mouth, her angry face, and the tears that blurred Amelia's vision, it all hurts to remember. Suddenly, a knock had brought Amelia out of her thoughts and focus on the door as she walked towards it and opened it, being faced with her family who had come to visit her. After she invited them in they talked for a while, then they left, leaving her alone once more.
