" It takes two to quarrel"

The story of mahabharat is something we are very close to. We have grown up hearing the tales of arjuna piercing the eye of fish, the gambling, disrobing of Draupadi, sufferings of karna, blindness of dhritrashtra, and the war of kurukshetra and a lot more.  With the justice finally served. But to whom? Pandavas or Kauravas?  Was it just a fight between kauravas and pandavas. Or there's something more thats hidden behind the words of vedvyas.

For example let's imagine. Let's  go back to the era of mahabharat, and your grandfather has a huge land mass with a lot of gold and treasure. Somehow the bigger son is impotent to manage his transport business across seas so the smaller one manages things. Then somehow the smaller one (let him be X) dies. And then the bigger one (Y) after the death of his father and brother somehow manages to run the business. But then you his(Y) son is somehow smaller than the one of X. Won't u desire the grandeur of your ancestors...or will u serve it to ur cousin in a silver plate? Be honest!
Then how was duryodhan wrong in his way. Offcourse his ways were brutal, cruel, horrible. But what made them so brutal?  Manipulation by the prince of gandhar? Or the one sided love and affection and respect and everything being served to the sons of pandu? Be honest! U even feel left out when your own mother gives a bit more attention to your smaller sibling. So are u duryodhan?

Was arjun really the greatest archer of his era? Or its just vedvyas's manipulation and that made u think so.  What was the need of Drona to ask eklavya's thumb as "guru dakshina". Why he wanted no one as great as arjun? Maybe he knew that something huge is going to happen...and arjuna should win...must win. So he tried his level best to make no competition. He did the same with karna... denied him the art of using bhrahmastra.

Let's talk about gambling game. Definitely duryodhan had diabolical plans against draupadi and pandavas. But being aware of the evil how could the so called DharmaRaj accepted that proposal? Oh please! Dharma never asks you to support evil. Dharma is not a fixed set of rules that u need to follow hard n fast. Its like a piece of cloth that you wear, you practice for the wellbeing, and with honesty.  But dharmaraj was addicted to the game of dices and dishonesty. And the worst he did by the name of dharma was to putting the daughter of drupad at stake. Which Dharma allows this? Where is it written that  a wife is the property of his husband. Agreed that duryodhan, dushashan and karna were monsters that day but yudhistir was no less than them. Silence is an ornament but being silent in front of wrong is the prove of your impotency. And then it became obvious for the pandavas to win...with a card of sympathy...with the humiliation and injustice of the innocent panchali with the adharm done by everyone against pandavas or just draupadi coz pandavas willingly and knowingly joined that game.

But let's talk about  fairness of yudhisthir and pandavas of which they r said to be epitome of. Why arjun choosed only krishna that too weaponless? Offcourse he knew very well that it was him only who saved panachali. He believed blindly on the rumors of krishna being  vishnu. With hanuman as a flag on his chariot and krishna as the charioteer how was this fair in between the war of humans vs humans? Offcourse God has to win. They should win cause somehow the side of pandavas was on the lesser side of adharma. But adharma is adharma. Acccepted that krishna played tricks to win the war ...it was needed for equilibrium. For what happened to draupadi and the many more sins done by kauravas as well as the pandavs and by everyone. But where was the righteousness of yudhistir. He could have atleast tried to convince krishna to stay out of war. He didn't. He was mean and selfish. He always was.

And then very easily the whole fault of mahabhart was put on the heads of drauapdi. But don't be blind.... it isn't wrong to ask justice... to wish for the death of your molesters. But its definitely wrong to throw your son away from you..... whatever the reasons were... how! just how! could a mother be so full of pride that it compelled her to send her own child away. Kunti was at fault too. Dhrtrashtra and Gandhari were absolutely right for desiring and praying for the best for their son's and their safety. But  turning a blind eye from their deeds...was their biggest mistakes. The pandavs were not innocent as well.(I explained that already) bhishma, Drona, karna being the most powerful ones  remained silent during the dice game. Karna was so full of ego and venegance against draupadi that he even called her a "whore" and ordered her disrobing. Krishna the one who wanted this war more than anyone chooses  krishnaa and shakuni  just as the pawns of destiny to give the primary reason for mahabharat. But the real lies deep. It lies in the silence of the greats, it lies in the blind love of parents, it lies the pride of kings and their queens and princesses and prince's, it lies in misinterpretation of dharma, it lies in diplomacy, it lies in addiction,  it lies in greed, it lies in vengeance,  it lies in partiality, it lies in sympathies.
