The detective duos/Kyoko Kirigiri x Male Reader.

Chapter 10 A kind Individual.

It's been two weeks since that date and (YN) is still being gloomy, he stays inside his room all day long at the weekend and when in class he doesn't speak like he used to, and at lunch, he finds somewhere to sit alone. Everything anyone tries to comfort him doesn't do anything. He just fakes a smile and everyone just thinks that he's okay. But not for Kirigiri, well of course she's the one in the situation. She can't just let (YN) be miserable all semester, can she?

She decides that this day will be the day that (YN) would get over that girl and move on to someone better. (And by that she DIDN'T mean herself)

08:00 a.m. Tuesday.

She goes to school as usual and comes to confront (YN) outside of his dorm to company him.

She waits for around 15 minutes and there he is.. (YN) walks out while looking downwards. He didn't even notice her.

"Hey." She greets with a weak smile. His eyes slowly move upwards to her face to meet eye contact with her. His eyes are like Racoon's. And his hair is all messy, he didn't even dry his face after washing it. "What happened to you?" He took a while to respond. "I hadn't finished most of my classwork at school so I need to stayed up late doing homework. And I overslept today so I was in a hurry." He put his finger on his chin and says in a sleepy tone. "What a nice innocent lie you said there." She says before grabbing his hand and starts to walk towards the school.

"O . . Oh . . I was just sooo hooked up with the game that Chiaki lent me and before I knew it was 4 a.m. now so Why sleep? I thought" He said, scratching his hair. "Oh really? What game?" Moving her face closer to him, she gets a little mad.

"What are these. . Interrogation? Are you the police?" He said jokingly.

"Ah, it's nothing." She separates her hand away from another body. "See you later (YN)" She said slowly in a threatening tone.

She continues to stalk him while trying not to get noticed, of course it was hard because another individual is a detective like her. He keeps looking backward and is very careful of his own surrounding. She didn't get caught tho. He went to lunch alone at the rooftop. She decides to talk to Naegi, maybe he could help.

She brings Makoto to an unused classroom and has a ' small talk ' with him.

"Greetings Naegi kun."

The boy infront of her looks flustered but she doesn't know why.

" A- Ah Hello Kirigiri san . . ! "

"Let's get straight to the chase."

She slammed him against a wall near the classroom window and trapped him in her arm, her face giving an unpleasant vibe.

"Do you know how to cheer (YN) kun up?"

Naegi slowly processes to question and a relaxed sigh leaves his body.

'How misleading'

Makoto thought in his mind. He thought of the time he used to hang out with (Y/N) and all he's talking about is video games.

"Maybe some video games? I don't know."

He said with a nervous smirk. Kirigiri lets him go, sighs and mutters something.

"Eh? What's wrong?"

He asks out of concerned but get her stubbornness as a response.

"None of your business. And another thing don't . tell . anyone ."

She said pointing her finger at him before heading out of the room to go do her own thing.

"What's the deal with her anyways?"

He said to no one as Kirigiri walked out of the room.

"Weird."

He said again before exiting the room and continues his lunch.

Right now Kyoko Kirigiri is  wandering around the school looking for Chiaki Nanami, The Super High School level Gamer. If what Naegi said earlier is true then the best way to cheer him up would be games! She wasn't familiar with that . . that's why she's going to find the Ultimate Gamer herself. Of course if what Naegi said IS true. She doesn't know why she must put up with so much trouble for him. But ok . .

' I guess he matters to me after all'

The thought made she goes crazy. Her face is a mess, she tries to shook the blush off her face but it doesn't go away. She saw a glimpse of a game console and instantly know that Nanami is around. She rushes towards the spot.

" Hey, Are you sick by any chance? "

A voice called her from behind. She turned around to see who is it and it's the Super high school level Nurse.

She shook her head in response and try to brush her off. But the Nurse holds her wrist.

' Dammit, what's this. '

" Y- Your skin looks so pale too! I think you should go to the infirmary w-with me "

She sighs and let the nurse guides her to the infirmary.
