"Do you feel like these nightmares are a result of the accident?"

The accident...how could you forget...

The screams of your brother...All for one laughing...

The day you've tried so hard to erase from your mind but yet it still stays there. Eating away at you making you feel like you're the one to blame at the end of the day. You try to convince yourself that it was just a matter of the wrong place at the wrong time yet your mind won't leave it at that.

The day was like any other, you and your brother Kusou were walking down the street. He possessed the same quirk as you but had better control over it than you.

"Jeez little sis. Still need Big Brother's help?"

You punch him in the arm after hardening your fist.

"Shut it Ku.."

"Help! Someone call the hero's!"

You and your brother ran to the scene of the crime to see...All for one..? It can't be him...you're frozen in fear as you see your brother run at the villain. There was blue fire everywhere, you could barely see but, you follow behind him. An intense battle was fought, other heroes came and tried to help but to no avail. The fight continued for 5 hours straight, All might was even getting tired. Your body was giving up on you as you felt yourself getting lightheaded.

"Y/N WATCH OUT-"

You hear your brother scream as he jumps in front of you.

Everything fades to black...

When you come to, all you saw was rubble. Paramedics are standing over you trying to exam you. You sat up and start trying to find Kusou.

"W-where is he...Where's my brother!"

The paramedics are trying to calm you down as you keep trying to get up and walk. You then look over to the left and see...a body bag..? Fearing the worst you run over to the bag and unzip it.

"N-no!" "KUSOU!"

You unzipped the bag to see your brother's pale, lifeless body in the bag. As the paramedics were running to you you let out a scream of sorrow, tears falling down your face as the paramedics took you away from the body.

"LET ME GO! PLEASE LET ME GO!"

You scream at them. You then felt yourself become sleepy.

After that day all that was on the news was the death of your brother, praising him for his heroic deeds. All you could do was stare at the TV and cry while wearing your brother's hoodie. From there that's where you and your mother's relationship began to plummet. You would fight with her every day of the week, she would blame you for not doing more and called you weak for not having better control of your power.

Ever since the death of your father, your mother was never the same. You moved out and stopped talking to her ever since. You felt as the relationship was too damaged to save. Every now and then she'll call but, whenever you answer all she does is yell at you and blame you for what happened.

You still think about that day. The blue fire...the sound of Aall For One laughing at your brother. The fire... it's the one thing that still boggles your mind on how it came out of nowhere. You felt like you saw someone starting it but, your memory is so foggy from that day you can't really think about it.

"Y/N...I'll ask you one more time. Do you feel like these nightmares are a result of the accident?"

The words of my therapist brought me back to reality.

"Yes...I do"

I look at the scars the run down my arm from that day.

"Im sorry...Big brother..."
