*Ventus' POV* 

We had arrived in the Realm of Darkness a couple of days ago. We had traveled throughout the different worlds that Aqua, Terra, and I had visited 10 years ago, Castle of Dreams, Dwarf Woodland, and Enchanted Domain.

We were looking for Sora, who had disappeared after saving Kairi, yet, there was no sign of him. It was like he was a ghost.

We had decided to take a break, Aqua pulled out her Gummi-Phone to see if any of the others had found any sign of him. Terra watched out for Heartless, as they were stronger in this realm. I sat down and thought about Chirithy, which led me to think about Vanitas. I wondered if he would ever join our side.

My thoughts were interrupted by Aqua sighing. I looked towards the bluette, who was putting the device in her pocket.

"Aqua?"

"No new news. I hope we can find him."

"We will find them!" Terra exclaimed.

"Yeah!" I agreed.

Aqua nodded two seconds later. The frown on her face turned upwards at her renewed hope. I couldn't help but smile too.

"We should get some sleep," Aqua uttered, to which Terra and I agreed.

"We should set a guard, just in case any Heartless decide to attack."

Terra and Aqua nodded and we began to decide who should go first. In the end I took the first shift.

The forest was dark, of course everything in this world is dark, so there wasn't much difference. Movement was caught from the corner of my right eye, I quickly summoned my Keyblade, Wayward Wind, and spun towards the right. Shadow Heartless were there, however they began to duck into the shadows, their yellow eyes were still illuminated.

'Hello Brother,' A masculine voice rang through my head.

'That sounds like. Vanitas.'

'Be wary of who you trust!' Yet another voice chimed in, this one sounded feminine.

'You!" This third voice pierced through my skull, almost like knives.

"Who are you!" I shouted, covering my ears as Vanitas and the third voice were yelling and insulting me.

Two hands grabbed my shoulder, when I looked over, I saw Aqua and Terra who were looking concerned.

"Ven? Are you alright?" Aqua inquired.

'You should get some rest,' the second voice gently whispered in my mind.

"I should get some rest." Aqua nodded. I laid down and closed my eyes.
