HOLIDAYSI lower my head, trying to comprehend what I just saw. I wanted to know if my thoughts were going in the right direction. I skate back with all my friends.
"What did you see?" Jimin asked. I bit my lips and lowered my head unsure of how to answer. "I don't know exactly what I saw but, I know something about the library at the school."
"But the school is closed," Steph mentioned.
"I'm just saying what I saw."
Jimin sighs in disappointment. He glances away in defeat making me feel bad. "Don't worry Jimin, we'll find a way to fix the Realm," I say softly. Jimin stares at me intensely. His body gets tense. For the first time I look at him I felt afraid. I was scared he was angry at me for not making any progress on taking him home.
He turns around and walks out. I follow him outside.
"Jimin I'm sorry. There was probably something I missed. I'm sorry," I apologized. Jimin turns around. Now feeling guilty he walks up to you putting his hand on your shoulder.
"Don't apologize to me. I'm worried about the demons coming here and hurting you," Jimin explained. Your eyes soften. "You're worried about me?" You questioned. Jimin pulls you into a hug.
"I am. More than anything."
You smiled as you laid your head on his shoulder. Your chest starts to heat up making your body warm in this cold weather. We pulled apart when we saw the others rush to us.
"We need to go home. This snow is getting out of control," Israel spoke. You noticed how hard the snowfall was. Jimin agreed to head home.
"That's fine with me. As long as I don't see any monster heading home you won't see me again till next year," Jay concluded, walking off the heavy snow. You were confused. "Is he actually leaving?" You asked.
"We were talking about it inside and we thought how ridiculous and dangerous this whole situation is. Listen, we are talking about monsters, demons we didn't know excited. We haven't had a more robust winter than this. We shouldn't risk our lives like this. This is very interesting but I don't know how to help you and I don't feel like I'm doing anything so I want to go home."
Steph explained.
"You're not gonna help?" You asked one more time. She shook her head and gave Jimin a small smile before following Jay. I look at Isabelle desperately. Isabelle glared at Jimin.
"Sorry, Y/n, It's not worth it."
"Wait, Isabelle, You're not gonna explain yourself,"
"You've heard enough," Isabelle spoke and walked away. You don't understand why your feelings are hurt. It's not you that needs help.
"Let's go home," Isreal mumbled.
You paced in circles in your room. Jimin sat in your bed as a dog. "If we don't do anything sooner, this whole town will be destroyed," You panicked.
"Nothing seems to be happening now. Have some rest—"
"NO. I shouldn't. I promised I'll get you home and close the Realm. We should go to the other side," You thought.
