Warnings → ENA is not 9 feet (274.3cm) tall in this because you would literally be half her goddamn height. Instead, she is around 7 feet (213.4cm), so still tall, but not too tall. I also switch between she/they pronouns for ENA because the reader is just confused.

'Ugh.. My head hurts.. Pretty sure I hit it on the way do- Wait.. the fuck? Where am I? What happened? Where's Shephard?' You shook your head, wincing as it throbbed angrily in response. After adjusting your eyesight, you looked around your new location, only becoming even more confused when you were met with nothing but a flat plane of gray.

You looked down to see your hands, flexing them as feeling returns to your fingertips. You were also genuinely surprised when you realised that you didn't feel any pain. Not from before when you were sucked in the computer, and not from the fall just now. Even the pins-and-needles feeling you had from before had faded fast. Your clothes, however, had a few scrapes and cuts and your skin looked... off.

Little bits floated away, like stray pixels on a broken screen. You tentatively poked the skin there. A sharp jolt bit the tip of your finger, making you flinch. Your skin returned to normal. You blinked a few times.

Now that you had dealt with whatever that was, you looked around. Even after doing a few circles on the spot, you were met with nothing but the colour gray. You kind of thought that this is what is would be like floating in space with no way to tell which way was up or down or left or right.

Right about now you were missing the rolling, low-poly hills of the meadows around Shepherd's home. At least there were some sort've landmarks, like that one river you saw. Here, you had no idea which way went where and what you might come upon. But what really stuck you was how alone you were. The air was still, and you could hear the blood thrumming in your ears.

You had no idea how long you stood there, but it was long enough for a few faint specks to finally appear on the horizon. You had to do a double take, even going as far as to rub your eyes like some poor actor in a low-budget movie.

You took a step forward, the feeling all to foreign to you. However, you paused. You weren't exactly the type of person to just walk up to someone and start a coversation, that was a level of charisma that you never saw yourself having. At least, that was what you remembered.

However your choice was soon made for you when the taller of the two paused and motioned wildly in your direction. The two figures turned and started walking towards you.

Crap.

The person who had noticed you did not look human at all, but they at least looked somewhat humanoid. They more resembled a picasso painting than an actual person. Asymmetrical, they were split right down the middle. Blue on the right side, as low poly as those fields you still missed, however their left looked as human as your own, albiet the fact they was an unnatural shade of yellow. The whole look was topped of with a pair of overalls that could've been a uniform in some places of the world you once resided in.

The second figure was a sphere. That was all you could garner from this far away. That, and this sphere had a killer head of hair.

Your anxious feeling only grew as they came closer and closer. You had half a mind to turn and book it right here, but where would you go? Where could you go without them following you in this endless expanse. You also had no idea how they might react to seeing you, a human. Something that was apparently not commonplace in this world according to Shepherd.
