The world is in flames as Remnant is currently suffering from the wrath of the forces of evil. Every story seems to have heroes and villains, and it's always the heroes that win. But in this little world, it seems that the villains have won this time. Three years from today was where most if not most then all hope is lost. Team RWBY is dead. Team JNPR is dead. Team CRDL, Team CFVY, Glynda, Winter, Ironwood, Aces Op, Qrow, Tai, Penny, You name it.
A young man at the age of 22 was sitting inside of a house that was from the Rose and Xiao Long family. The house however was in a horrible condition as it was black, burnt, broken windows and cracked walls. Messy h/c and tired e/c that are filled with hope. This man was simply known as Y/N. No last name, he didn't want to use his last name. The color of his outfit was green as well as some gold there. His pants and shoes were black and he has a green cape also.

A grown black-headed tricolor Pembroke Weish Corgi walks into the kitchen and jumps on Y/N's lap, giving off an oof sound but chuckles as he pets the corgi. The corgi smile as he started to get more comfortable around him. This Corgi belong to the Rose and Xiao Long family, he is known as Zwei. However what family is left to take care of the adorable corgi when they're all dead?
Our lovable Zwei grown in adult size and seems to be a great friend to Y/N. The corgi felt Y/N getting up and ready to move so he jumped off and head his way to the backyard. Y/N taking a sip from his strawberry lemonade that he made himself, his lips curled into a frown. Y/N sighed to himself as he made his way towards the what used to be bedroom. Now there's just a mattress and ruined furniture. Who's bedroom it was, we never know. Y/N got on his knees as his hands were formed like he is praying to something or someone. But as his eyes open, the e/c that the little people know him are now a glowing dark grey.

Ruby began calling out for her teammates, as did Yang, and Weiss, and Blake also who were all calling out for each other. Qrow was there too but he was more quiet and was more focused on what just happened. But then also Y/N is there in this past event. Yes, past event... that's thanks to Connection of the Dead.
Connection of the Dead is Y/N's Semblance that is a bit difficult to explain. Two years from today was when Y/N first unlock and discovered this unique semblance. Connection of the Dead is, well the name is explanatory, connections to a person that is dead. Having memories of a dead person. However the person that was picked was random.
