"Don't fuck this up man." Guude said, walking out the door.

Pause laughed nervously.
"Thanks for the confidence, Guude."

As he heard the door click behind him, Pause combed his hair with his fingers and sat down on the couch. He took a deep breath. Tomorrow was the day. Valentines. He had to pull this off. Beef was always one step ahead in this type of thing, and for once he wanted to turn the tables.

Anxiety was taking him over again as he quickly put his hands on his pocket. He breathed a sigh of relief as he felt the rectangular object there. If he lost it, he wouldn't know what to do with himself.
------
Beef was driving to Etho's place. He was shaking with anticipation and excitement. He was so energized, he figured he could run there and be faster than his car.

Beef honestly adored everything about Valentines. You could say he was in love with the holiday. He didn't mind that everyone spent hundreds of dollars for their partner for no reason. He also didn't mind that Pause wasn't the type to do such things. In fact, he was thankful that Pause wasn't a romantic. Cause then that would mean his own plan would get ruined. Although, Beef does have a sneaking suspicion something was happening tomorrow.

*Flashback*
"That was a pretty good movie." Beef said, holding Pause's hand as they walked out the movie theatre. "Wasn't the best though."

"Yeah." Pause nodded. He looked over at Beef, with something in his eyes. Beef looked back at him.

"What?" Beef said quizzically.

"Nothing." Pause said shaking his head, grinning. "Hey listen. I need to go over to Guude's place. Are you okay for going home on your own?"

Beef nodded. "Yeah sure. Don't come back too late." Beef gave Pause a quick kiss that still gave him butterflies, even after two years of dating. Beef watche as Pause turned around and walked to the street, where he called a cab. The moment he saw the taxi turn the corner, he took out his phone and dialled Etho.

"Hello?" Etho said, sleepily.

"Etho, it's me. He's on his way."

He could hear Etho laughed from the other side. He could not have asked for a better best friend.

"Good. We don't have much time, so you gotta come over now man. I'll tell Aurey, you get over here. You didn't forget the thing did you?"

Beef felt his back pocket. He smiled as he felt the small box.

"You should have more confidence in me Mr. Slab
*Flashback fini*

He shook his head. Probably just a thing with spawn. As he pulled over Etho's driveway, he saw Etho standing on his porch.

"I bought the stuff." Etho said, as Beef got out of his car.

"Cool. Shall we start?" Beef said, opening the door for Etho.

"Yes please."

Aurey can be clumsy and silly at times, but when it comes to Valentines, she's dead serious. If she can have a super power, it would be the ability to bring two people together. Other than producing rainbows of course.

The best part of being a modern day Cupid was that everyone knows what you can do, and they go to you for help. The Beef and Pause situation was no exception. She had helped the two get the most important object in this scenario, and had the most important job; getting the two in the same place, at the same time. About a week before Valentines Day, Beef and Pause spoke to Aurey. Secretly of course. They told her their plan, and how they want to do it. Now it's the day everyone was anticipating, and Aurey was more ready than ever.

They planned to do it in spawn.
