Chapter 2

I woke up and check the time it was barely 11:30 am so I got up and got something to drink." Good morning sleepyhead. How did you sleep?" Wait, I just remembered he kissed me well it was a quick peck but it still counts. Right? " Good, where is everyone else ?" I looked around and there was 3 tents set up and nobody else except Dylan and I." They went to look around and I said I would stay here with you". Here we are again with the awkward silence. My day keeps getting better and better 'note the sarcasm'.

" Do you umm---maybe wanna go for a walk with me". he said while nervously scratching the back of his neck. "Why does he have to be so freakin cute?"

" You really think so." Wait did I just say that out loud. I was so embarrassed "ummm yes---------about the walking thing duh. You're like a brother to me. why would I be attracted to you and have a crush on you for 9 years and wish that you would just hold me close and kiss me. That is just insane. I mean you're cute but not like hot cute more of a puppy dog cute." He is definitely a sexy cute if that makes any sense. I just laughed in a weird fake way." Well I think you're cute." I gave him a shocked look. Wait he just called me cute. YASSSSSSS!! " But I mean not in a hot cute way." He smirked and winked at me then walked away. "Jerk, wait up." We were walking and talking and then we found this cool little spot and stopped. " So the weather is great today." Oh my gosh what the heck is wrong with me. Ok just say something cool. I went to look up at him and our faces were inches apart and I could smell his scent that just drove me crazy. He looked into my eyes then down at my lips and I copied. We slowly leaned in and our lips were were just about to touch then Alexis came. She is just so perfect at timing, not.

" Hey guys where have you been?"

"Oh we just went for a walk , where have you been ?" I said changing the subject." Well we went to look around, and then we went back to our campsite and you guys weren't there. You guys look cozy." She gave me a smirk because she knew that I have liked her brother since we were 8. I realized that he was holding my waist and I felt a wave of chills go through my body with his touch. I didn't even realize his touch left me until Alexis took me out of my thoughts." Earth to Nicole my gosh what has been going on between you and Dylan." Wait what there's something going on between Dylan and I." What are you talking about there's nothing going on. Right?"

"Well you sound sure of yourself. I don't even know what you see in him he is just so bleh." She is crazy he is so not bleh he is more of a YASS. You know. I guess not."What are you talking about I do not like Dylan anymore I'm so over his perfect hair, smile, chiseled abs, eyes...." I got lost in the thought of Dylan." Yeah okay you are over him. Go ahead keep telling yourself that sweetheart. On another note I'm married to Dylan O'Brien and we have two kids named Nash Grier and Cameron Dallas." she said with a sarcastic tone in her voice."Fine I'm not over your brother. I mean look at him." I just can't get him out of my thoughts.
" Yeah I don't feel like puking so I'll just pass." We laughed then we headed toward the campsite. We decided to go swimming, so we went to change.
" Mom we're gonna go for a swim. Okay alright". It was like she knew what her mom was gonna say next. Thats why she was talking so fast.
" Oh honey, ask Dylan if he wants to go swimming with you girls." I mean I wouldn't mind because he would be shirtless and he is so perfectly tanned.
" Do I real---
I cut Alexis off " We will go ask him Mrs.Parker. We'll be back in an hour or two. See you later." We walked over to Dylan's tent." Hey Dylan do you want to go swimming with Alexis and I." He didn't hesitate. "YES---I-I mean sure yeah. I'll go change and then we'll leave." he looked at me and smirked then he winked.

We walked down to the lake and jumped into the water. At first it was cold but I got used to the temperature. I came up from the water and I see Dylan standing right in front of me. Our eyes meets with each other and we both lean in." Seriously you two keep having these movie moments but you guys keep saying there is nothing going on between you two. I just don't get it." Alexis got out of the water and walked away. I look at Dylan again and do a fake laugh." There is nothing going on between us. Right?" He leans in and we are just about to kiss but I pushed him away." I meant there shouldn't be anything between us. Your sister is my best friend and I don't want her to think that I would choose you instead of her." He looked hurt about what I said and I felt bad. I really do like him.
" My sister shouldn't be the controller in whatever we are and I hope that this can become something because you're beautiful and funny." I was so shocked by his words and I just couldn't find the words to say to him. I just chocked up and tears started to fall." I-I-I can't I'm s-sorry." I ran back to the campsite.
