"Damn, Rae! What a great thing to start the day." Rae scolded herself, staring at the broken plate on the floor. Without wasting anytime she started to pick up the mess she made while blabbering. "It wasn't my fault though, the plate was just being so slippery that it fell." (totally me LMAO)

"What's going on there?" A man voice was heard from upstairs. Rae turned her gaze to where it came from and there stood her father, checking up the situation.

Shaking her head, she gave the man an awkward smile. "Nothing, dad. Just a plate."

The elder man let out a sigh, rubbing his temple. "Stop breaking thing or we will have an empty house." He said as he sat down, eating his breakfast. "Today's first day in new school hmm? Give them a good first impression. Make new friends."

Raechan scoffed, rolling her eyes uninterested. "I've enough friends. I don't mind being alone here." She bantered.

After Rae's mother died, his father became the saddest person ever. Well she was sad too but she knew that they can do nothing but to accept that fact. People come and people go. No one can change the fate. A month after that, they moved to another city. His father wanted to start a new life. " I need to move on," he said. And now here they are, in a -not so big but not so small - house, in the middle of a busy city.

" Tch, whatever you want, daughter." He gave her a small smile as he stood up and approached her. " Don't you want to give your lovely dad a hug, hmm?" Opening his hands, he gestured Rae into his arms.

This is what Rae loves about him. Always caring and understanding, even though the situation they were in weren't as good as others'. The old man always supported what she choosed, and sometimes gave opinions about it. All he wanted was seeing her daughter being happy. He was the reason that Rae couldn't be so sad about his mother.

Rae rose up and embraced her father into a warm hug, smiling over his chest. " I'll go to school first, dad."

Mr. Kim just simply nodded. "Yeah sure. Don't forget that I love you." Stated her father as they loosened the family hug.

"I love you too dad." Rae waved her hand, walking towards the front door.

The cold air breeze hit her face as she left her house. It was 8:30 a.m. in the morning, and the weather was very cold and chill since it was just January. Many passerby were wearing thick clothes, some were on the way to work while some were going to school, just like her.

Putting her hands in the pockets, Rae wondered how her new school will be. She was quite introverted, and that can't help her in making new friends. It took so long -3 years- for her to fully adapted to her old school's friends but now she just moved to a new one.

Rae looked at her new school in awe. The campus was so big, well at least for her. She clenched her bag's straps tightly as she stepped into the building, searching for the headmaster's office.

"Come in!" Someone said after she knocked the door.

Slowly opening the door, Rae sat on the prepared chair and introduced herself. The elegant older woman just smiled and slightly nodded. " You're the new student! I'm Mrs. Choi. Nice to meet you, Kim Raechan."
