Through The Door

Chapter 3

Mr. Zhao, Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei stopped at one place in that street market. Due to the hot day today, they chose that huge black tent to stop by for a moment as they are tired now to search that street market area to find the source of those pendants. They asked almost the whole peoples in that street market but no one knows about that source of pendants on the neck of Shen Wei.

''Maybe that source is not at here anymore, dad!'' Zhao Yunlan said as he gave up to search again after a few hours they did.

''Maybe, Yunlan. Well, let's go back for now. It's already almost sunset within a few minutes soon. We will come again on tomorrow and continue our search,'' Mr. Zhao decided and they nod agreed but then Shen Wei yelped in pain as her chest suddenly feels burden and hurt.

''Argghh!! Wait! It's hurt,'' Shen Wei told while clenching on her heart that feeling more burden now.

''Wei, what's happened?'' Zhao Yunlan worryingly asked.

''My heart. It's hurt like someone pressed it too much. It's burdening my heart,'' Shen Wei tried to explain but she didn't know how to explain as her chest is burdening more and more.

''What should we do now, dad? Let's bring her to the hospital,'' Zhao Yunlan suggested.

''No! I don't think it's a disease or related to hospital. That feeling is too burden,'' Shen Wei told with her sweaty face now.

Zhao Yunlan looks at Mr. Zhao which also looking weirdly to him.

''If not hospital, what should we do? We can't stay here and doing nothing. Your face becomes paler now, Wei,'' Mr. Zhao said.

''Dad, I...''

''I can help her if you don't mind,'' suddenly a female voice interrupted Shen Wei's words from their back, startling them three at there.

''Who are you?'' Zhao Yunlan asked with weirdly look as he saw that woman with black clothes and red hat is standing behind them.

That woman smiles but too scary made Zhao Yunlan swallows hard. Shen Wei screams again as her heart is more burdening.

''Come inside now and let me heal her,'' that woman said.

Mr. Zhao nods to Zhao Yunlan and his son pulls Shen Wei into that black tent. That woman asks them all to take a seat and then she prepares something to Shen Wei to drink made Zhao Yunlan frowns as well as Shen Wei and Mr. Zhao, feeling insecure for this woman.

''Drink this potion or else you will die again,'' that woman said.

They startled to hear about die again caused Mr. Zhao looks straight to that woman.

''What do you mean she will die again? Did you know something about her?'' Mr. Zhao curiously asked.

That woman nods.

''More than know. I will tell you soon. But please let her drink that potion first if you don't want to let her die once again. And if that happened, you can't revive her anymore,'' that woman told.

Upon listening to that, Zhao Yunlan hurriedly grabs that glass of potion and he gives that to Shen Wei to drink it.

''Please drink this, Wei. I don't want to let you die again. Please,'' Zhao Yunlan pleaded.

Shen Wei that can see the honesty in the eyes of Zhao Yunlan and also with her burdening heart that almost stuck her breath, she quickly drinks that potion with the trust on this woman. She also wants to know what's happened to her from this woman that seems like know something about her.

''How do you feel now, Shen Wei?'' that woman asked to confirm to see the paler face of Shen Wei turns to her normal tone color now.

Shen Wei nods with her assurance smile but her face is a bit startled too to hear this woman knows her real name.
