Letting Go

In the beginning of the story
I don't need to worry
But as the story flows
I knew how it goes

My self who was standing straight
Is now falling great
Willingly and directly
Loving you painfully

With a hope that you are mine
I put everything in the line
With a dream of us
I thought it would last

Even though I know
That you'd eventually go
I still risked everything
And I stayed, hoping

Letting go was never an option
As I loved our connection
But as the time went on
I didn't have a choice but to move on

How can I do what I chose?
If everytime I try, I always lose?
Because you, again, made me feel
Like us was real

I'm tired of giving you chances
Not just once, but many times
But now is the time
To step back from the line

In the beginning of the story
I don't need to worry
But the story had ended
With us never happened
