I pulled out my MacBook and my pencil out since I didn't know what to do. The teacher starts passing out papers while she explains it. "You will pick a partner and you and that partner will work together to create a poster that covers one of the things we have learned about." I sigh and take a paper even though I had absolutely no clue what to do and Luke tapped my back. "Hey bud, wanna work together?" He questions. "Sure." I say with a smile
~Later at lunch~
I look around to find a seat to sit down, but my luck all of them are either taken or saved. "I guess it's outside today. " I think to myself "Tommy! " someone says my name and I spin around quickly to see Alex motioning me over towards him and I first hesitate and walks over. He pats the seat next to him "Sit. " He says and obey and sit next to him. I look over to my left to see a guy in glasses with light brown hair setting his stuff down. "You must be the new kid, Tommy isnt it? " He says. I nod my head yes "I'm Coyt." he says and waves, I wave back and he heads to the line and I resume eating and Alex pats me on the back "Your going to make good friends here. " He says smiling
~After school~
I ended up being late for my bus so I had to walk to my house, it wasn't very far luckily. Lost in a train of thought I hadn't noticed that Alex walked up to me. "You need a ride?" He asks. "Uh... Im good but thanks." I reply smiling. "Awwww! Come on I'll be glad to take you home!" I sigh admitting defeat and nod my head. We get in his car and I tell him where I live "Well hello neighbor!" He says grinning. "What?" I say tilting my head. "You live beside me! " He replies. "Ohhh, cool. " I say and we head there. About five minutes in the car we arive at my house. "Thanks for the ride! " I say hopping out "Anytime! " he says and pulls next door.
