Chapter 7

ANGELS POV:
I know what Lilianas family is thinking.

But I'm not gonna keep her away from them. I might have raised her since she was 3.

But their her blood. She loves them, they love her.

I gonna miss the little firework, but she needs her blood family.

"I know what your all thinking, and yes I'm gonna transfer Liliana's custody over to you. She going home with you to Italy." I look over at Giovani and smile softly.

I see the family's relived faces slightly. Even though they kept their cold exterior.

"Thank you Angela. For every thing you've done for our sister. We are eternally grateful." Alessandro coldly says.

I say nothing but smile and nod my head slightly.

I was about to say something when I hear small whimpers coming from Liliana's room.

I'm guessing the Romero's heard it to because they where all up and following after me towards her room.

I open her door quickly but quietly to see Lili whimpering, squirming, and slightly crying in her sleep.

It was clear as day she was having a nightmare. She goes to my best friends house twice a week for therapy because, he's a licensed therapist and one of my closest friends so Lili won't be scared to talk to him.

I rub the back of by fingers across her wet and stained cheeks as her breathing picks up and she starts moving more. The nightmare was getting worse.

I look back at the Romero's as they all have a look of worry or panic across their faces.

I turn back to Lili and shake her whispering "Come on Lili. Wake up it's only a dream."
It's not working.
I call Angel over to help me because when her nightmares are this bad waking her up is a horrible process.
Lili starts shaking even more in her sleep and her hair is starting to stick to her face. "No.... Please stop! Stop please... it hurts!"

By now her entire family is by her side trying to wake her up.

Damn why does this girl have to be such a deep sleeper
"LILIANA WAKE UP...

LILIANA POV:

"LILIANA WAKE UP!" Is the last thing I hear before my eyes shoot open and I realize I'm had a nightmare about my time with him.

I don't wanna go back..

I don't wanna see Him..

I don't wanna go back to that place.

Next thing I know I'm being pulled into Mommy's chest. I don't know what came over me but I just broke down sobbing in her arms.

I wrapped my arms and legs around her and just cried into her chest.

It was now that I realized that their was more people in the room. Papa, my fratelli(Brothers), and Angela were all touching either my hands or my back.

My cries slowly dissolved into hiccups as I feel the comfort of my Famiglia. Momma's hand finds its way to my hair to further soothe my cries.

"Let's talk in the sitting room" Angela says softly to the everyone in the room besides me. My brothers clearly didn't want to leave me after a scare like what just happened but I could tell without really looking at them that they had some issues to clear.

Everyone got up kissed my head and walked out the room. Momma stayed with me and kept rubbing her hands through my hair which made me really sleepy again.

I was practically asleep as Momma lies me on my bed and tries to walk out the room.

" Mommy..."
She looked back at me with the look of love shining through her eyes.
"Yes Princess?"
"Can you stay until I fall asleep? Please?" I looked at her with such vulnerability in my eyes.

I don't care if I look or sound pathetic. I just want the comfort of my mother. Is that too much for an 11 year old to ask for?

She smiles and kneels on the side of my bed. She strokes the sides of my face as I drift back into a dreamless sleep.
" I love you mommy"I whispered as I let the darkness take over.

So today we saw a more vulnerable side of Lili that doesn't come out often. What will her family have to say about her nightmare? And who is this Mysterious Him guy? Does he have something to do with Lili's horrible experience? Let's find out
