Planning, planning, planning was all that was being done over the course of the past few days. Ron and I were getting married!

"Ugh Ginny, you're going to look soooo pretty!" I moaned, making her spin around in the dress she got. Ginny was my bridesmaid and was wearing a forest green dress. It had a low, draped back with silver gems on the front. It was beautiful!

We were having our wedding at the Burrow a bit like Bill and Fluer's. There was a big marquee and an outside aisle where I would walk down. The setup was breathtaking, with flowers, vines and the colour scheme of beige, sage green and white. The house was very busy with people cleaning, prepping and cooking. Mrs Weasley had decided to cook all the different food beforehand but then put a preserving charm on it all so it wouldn't go off. There were cupcakes, donuts, salads, pizzas, chicken, beef and a whole bunch more, I couldn't wait!

I stepped onto the freshly mowed grass and as I looked up, all I saw were people staring at me. The music started and I walked down the aisle, Ginny holding my dress behind me. I passed a crying Mrs Weasley and went to join Ron at the end.

"You look absolutely stunning Mione!" Ron whispered, ensuring he didn't interrupt the minister. I blushed looking down at my toes. We exchanged vows then rings and when Ron placed mine on my finger my jaw dropped. It was the prettiest ring I'd ever seen! It had little diamonds around the rim and one big one in the middle.

"It's incredible!" I said, lowering my voice so only Ron could hear. He smiled at me.

"But how did you afford it?" I went on. Ron pushed his finger against my lips,

"Secrets," he replied.

"You may now kiss the bride." The priest called out and Ron and I did, we kissed for what felt like 10 whole minutes. When we finally pulled apart we looked around to see the small crowd cheering and clapping. We made our way into the marquee where we danced and ate food. This had to be the best night of my life! It was a small wedding, only close friends but there were still quite a few people despite this. Ron suddenly pulled me out of the marquee.

"Care for a walk?" He asks, holding my hand and bowing. I think he was a bit drunk!

"Oh," I say, acting honoured.

"Of course!" I continued. We strolled around the garden, talking merrily for a good half an hour. The bright moonlight and the shimmer of stars sent a tremendous glow over the luscious grass. Suddenly I grabbed Ron by the hand and kissed him under the moonlit sky. Our arms entwined around each other. We drew apart, smiling at each other. He was the perfect husband.

We walked back to the marquee to once again hear the loud sound of music and chatting coming from inside. It was a nice distraction from everything else that was going on, with the war and all that. It was nice to see everyone having a good time.

As we stepped back in there was a loud roar from the guests and, making a small parting for us to walk down, we ran back to the dance floor. It was a great night, and by the end of it we were all knackered. The final dance of the night was a slow dance. Ron and I were partnered together as well as various other guests such as Molly and Arthur. As we swayed to the soft, gentle music I rested my head on Ron's shoulder, closing my eyes. I whispered very quietly into his ear,

"Oh how our life has changed!"
