The Confusion & Self Confessions

Ariana's POV:

Drinking my coffee, I got in my car and started driving over to the studio, to record a few demos and maybe a new song.

'Maybe I'll see Justin!' I thought happily.

I got out of the car and walked inside. My face lit up when I heard Justin's voice in one of the recording booths. I ran inside the studio that I heard his voice coming from and saw him singing. He smiled at me when I walked in and I sat on the couch. He sounded amazing. When he walked out I hopped up and walked over to him. I gave him a huge hug and then pulled away to say something.

"That was beautiful, Justin!" I exclaimed.

Before he could even thank me I heard a voice coming from behind me.

"I thought it was too." a female voice said.

Then I saw her. It was Selena. She walked up to Justin and started kissing him, her arms around his neck. I bit the inside of my cheek sadly as I watched them. She pulled away and smiled at me, Justin's arms wrapped around her waist. It was all happening so fast, that it seemed to be in slow motion for me.  I bit my lip then spoke.

"Uh. Okay. Well I am gonna...um..go now." I said and before they could say anything, I walked out and to my studio number. Wow. Why did I ever fall for Justin? I knew he had a thing going on with Selena, but honestly, I was just too blind too see how in love they were. I thought he, well... liked me a little bit at least.

"Be confident." I whisper to myself.

I put my empty coffee cup into one of the bins as I walk to my studio. 'Confident' I remind myself, once again.

Justin's POV:

"Selena. You must have made Ariana uncomfortable. Why did you kiss me like that?".

"She obviously really likes you, babe. I needed to prove to her that you were mine and no one else's to take." she replies nonchalantly.

My heart fluttered a bit when she said that Ariana likes me, but I snapped myself out of that so I could reply to my girlfriend.

"Well, even if she does like me, that's not a reason to make her feel so uncomfortable that she has to leave!" I snapped back.

Selena looked very surprised about my reply. I suddenly felt bad about talking to her like that.

"I'm sorry, Selena. I didn't mean to snap at you." I say, after a moment of silence. She just sighs and smiles at me, indicating that it's ok.

"I'm going to go find her." I tell her and without hesitation I walk out of the room, and head towards Ariana's recording room as I have her studio number memorised.

When I walk in, I see Ariana talking to Scooter, so I wait behind the door, hoping he will leave so I can talk to Ari. I can't hear what they are saying from looking through the filtered window in the door, but it looks serious. I suddenly feel the urge to hear what is going on, so I step closer to where the door is cracked open. I listen closely, feeling guilty of listening to their conversation, but the guilt being won over by my curiosity.

"Well I'm really excited about it!" Ariana says.

"I know! I bet it will cause an even better relationship with your fans." Scooter replies.

"I hope so, Scooter." Ariana politely says back to him, smiling that perfect smile.

"On the subject of relationships, I have noticed you've been looking at..a certain someone." Scooter says to her with a smile on his face. Who?

"Shut up." Ariana playfully says back, already blushing.

Wait, what? I'm very confused now. Who are they talking about? It's not like I'm jealous or anything but Ariana is one of my best friends, so shouldn't she tell me who she is crushing on? I think that's how relationships- I mean friendships work.

Who on earth could she be talking about?

Ariana's POV:
Shortly after Scooter leaves the room, a certain someone - who I swear is an angel - named Justin, walks into the room. How can he be so, I don't even know. He is so god damn good looking that I can't even come up with words for it.

He looks a bit shy and suddenly I want to know what he wants. Especially considering, it pulled him away from his clingy girlfriend. Okay, wait, I take it back. Selena is probably a very sweet girl and I shouldn't dislike her because of my feelings for Justin.

I am so glad I can finally admit to myself that I do have feelings for this kind-hearted person.

"I'm really sorry about Selena, Ari. She was all over me and that must have been really uncomfortable for you to watch." Justin says to me, looking down.

I can't help but melt at the sad face he's making and I immediately forgive him.

"Babe, it's fine. Don't even worry about it." I tell him.

He looks up shyly.
"I loved your cover of my song..oh and I also like your new hair" he tells me and I grin.

"Thank you, you lovely spirit. I have some exciting news.."

He suddenly looks up and a smile is on his face.

"Tell me, tell me, tell me!" he whines like a kid, and I swear, he is still a kid at heart...just like me.

"I am releasing my album in two weeks!" I tell him, still half laughing over his childish whining, but right after I tell him, he literally lifts me off the ground and spins me around, yelling in happiness for me.

"ARIANA I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU." he yells as he spins me around one last time and then puts me on the ground.

"I was just talking to Scooter about it, and he said it will help me build a stronger relationship with my fans. I agree, because I really want to connect with all of my fans, and oh my god, I am just so excited!".

As I look at the excited look Justin is giving me, I realise the scariest thing I have ever had to admit to myself and that is, I am in love with Justin Drew Bieber...

Hi oh my god I am so sorry for not updating for 4 FREAKING MONTHS. I don't know how I let that happen, but I did! I'm honestly so sorry! I don't actually have an excuse as to why I have not updated. I honestly just couldn't think of what to write. I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Maybe I will do a double update today (only if I get to, so no promises). Anyway, Ariana realised she loves Justin! *fangirl screams* hah I hope you're enjoying this story so far, anyway. Keep voting on my chapters please because that would make me so happy! Love you! x
