Mikaela couldn't believe it. Adam fucking Banks in now on her team, the ducks. Her enemy, the boy who makes her blood boil is now going to be with her everyday and she is not happy.
*skipping adam's intro and being called a cake eater*
"give him a chance he's not a hawk anymore he's a duck" connie says to her mikaela. "no once a hawk always a hawk." mikaela says with anger evident in her voice.
the next day at practice mikaela gets there early per usual and is sitting in the locker room listening to some music when she feels a presence behind her. she turns around to see the one person she doesn't want to see.
adam banks.
"what do u want banks." mikaela asks with annoyance in her voice. "oh nothing i just wanted to annoy u." adam's says with a smirk and then proceeds to take her headphones. "hey give me those back u cake eater." mikaela yells while trying to grab her headphones back. "nah i'm good." adam says while holding the headphones above his head so the shorter girl can't reach them.
mikaela keeps reaching up to grab the headphones and decides to just stand on the bench to try and grab them not noticing the wobble on it when she stands on it.
mikaela reaches for the headphones but looses her balance on the bench and falls off the bench. she closes her eyes waiting for the impact only to never feel it.
she opens her eyes to see blue eyes staring right back at her and her headphones on the floor.
they both just stare at each other not saying anything. until mikaela speaks up.
"t-thanks." mikaela says "no problem." adam says with a blush.
"u can let me down now." the blonde says with a laugh. "oh sorry." adam says as he sets her down on the ground.
"see u on the ice banks." mikaela says. "see u." adam says looking down with a smile.
*skip to hawks vs ducks game.*
"cmon adam." mikaela says while standing next to her coach.
she sees adam skating down the ice not noticing mcgill going straight for adam.
"adam watch out!" mikaela yells only for it to be too late.
everyone goes quiet seeing adam banks hit his head and land on the ice not moving. mikaela looks at her teammates who all hold a concerned look and she decided to run out onto the ice.
"adam adam wake up!" mikaela says while kneeling down next to larson. she picks up adam face only to hear him groaning.
the medics pick adam up and put him on the stretcher.
"hey jessie do me a favor kick hawk butt." adam says in a raspy voice. " you got it cake eater." jessie says with a laugh.
mikaela skates over and stops right at the stretcher adam's on. mikaela looks at him and gives him a sad smile. he smiles back and reaches out and grabs her hand.
"i see that u were worried about me." adam says with a smirk. "shut up banks." mikaela says with a laugh and looks down.
adam sits up and little and lifts up mikaelas chin and proceeds to caress her cheek.
he then closes him eyes and leans in while mikaela does the same.
she turns around to see her team standing there with smiles on their faces and the hawks all standing there with shocked and angry expressions.
"well what are we waiting? let's play!" mikaela yells while the ducks cheer with her.
