" I can't believe my dad finally let me go to normal high school," I said stuffing some clothes into my bag.
"Well you better believe it girl, listen everyday I want all the deets, and please for the sake of god meet some new hot boys," my best friend Mya said.
I put down everything in my hands, sat next to her on her bed and held her hands softly and said in an annoying yet calm tone
" not gonna happen."
She released her hands from mine and stood up stomping on the floor " Why not !"
"Mya we already talked about this before, I don't trust them enough"
" oh come one ! It was one boy" she spat out
"yeah well that one boy was supposed to be my soulmate."
Ever since my boyfriend broke up with me OVER TEXT I haven't trusted nor dated any boys, it just isn't something I can bring myself to do anymore. But ofc Mya had to bug me about it every SINGLE day.
"Look I'll think about it but for now ... I'm gonna miss you so much" I said spreading my arms out signaling for a hug. She quickly ran into my arms and said with a teary voice
" Please promise me to call everyday and come visit."
I quickly pulled away and said "ofc, don't worry everyday we'll have a call at least once, I'll tell you if I ever get invited to parties and I'll send pics."
It was hard leaving this place behind but i was quite glad that I'll be able to spend more time with my dad and that I'll finally be able to be a normal teenager who gets bullied and gets her heartbroken ...
