It was a nice and peaceful day some will say, but not all nice and peaceful days are perfect like these. Even if the scenery was beautiful someone would ruin it.
It almost seemed perfect for a picnic, no, it was perfect for a picnic.
The way the trees swayed in a dancing manner in a conga line seemed to fulfill the fact that it was starting to get windy soon. The grass following the same movements of the trees, it all seemed so perfect. It was such a perfect day, keyword, it was.
'COUGH' 'COUGH'
'SPLOP!'
"Ah...damn it....dropped my cig....oh well, hopefully it burnt out.." a few footsteps followed after the voice finished its sentence, the person left leaving the cigarette on the ground thinking it had burnt out.Alas, it did not, it caught fire on the nearest flammable thing, the poor fire grew bigger and bigger like a hungry monster engulfing everything in its way. A few houses were being burnt down, quickly someone called for help to stop the fire. Everything seemed like it would be alright, but in all honesty, the one home of someone was destroyed completely. Most thought it was abandoned and left to discard so they could care less, as long as it didn't cause the fire to destroy their homes. But the fire had spread like wild while help started to rush over. It was a crazy, busy, close to perfect day.
Once the fire was restored a tall figure stood, looking at the remains of the abandoned home, what was left of it wasn't much. The figure trembled in fury, they were sure this was planned, 'someone did this on accident' they thought. They sighed and grabbed a few things that were mostly usable and left behind, others didn't even dare to look over at them, some were grieving over the loss of their homes and stuff. Immediately police had came to escort those who had no homes to shelter, another figure grabbed our tall figure's shoulder in an effort to get their attention. The tall figure jolted and stepped back to look over at who had approached them, a cop stood there.
"Hey, you can't stay here, if you have a place to go I recommend you go, if you don't we can just call someone over here to get you to a shelter home while we figure out the cause here" the cop had said. The poor tall figure stood there in fear, they weren't paying attention, they wanted to leave, to run, to hide, anything to get out of here. Another cop came over and approached the cop, "We found a cig, seems to have been the cause, quite an illegal one as well, never seen this one before..". The cop turned to look over at what the other cop had brought, the tall figure took this as a chance to run and escape, they ran as far as they could finding a place to go and hide .
Thankfully, they found a church, it seemed abandoned and in such a place out of nowhere, surely he could hide here. They tried going in through the entrance only to had found it locked, not thinking much of it they broke in. They examined the area, and smiled to themselves, it was perfect. They enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness, but not for long, a few voices were heard, in an act of fear and panic they ran and looked around for a place to hide. Noticing a peace of floor popping out revealing a secret room, they lifted it up and in a struggling effort made it down to the secret room, slowly closing the top and staying as quiet as a mouse.
