" C'mon! I really don't know what to give her. I need your advice." Seb was tugging your shoulder as both of you walked together.
" You've beeen with her for 5 months now. Surely, you know what to give her." You looked him in the eyes. You were annoyed because you Saturdays are always your day with Seb and now that he's got a gf, he can't stop mentioning her. And by the way, your secretly in love him because you're afraid to ruin your friendship.
Seb stopped in front of you. He lifted your chin and rested his hands on your cheeks.
" Why are you so moody lately, Y/N? Is it that time of the month again."
You blushed at the close proximity. He always does this when you get sulky. He said for like a millionth time that he thinks of you like a sister he never had. Way to blow your chances right? You only have a 7 year gap with him, what's so sisterly about that? Besides, you're more mature than him but Seb's towering height make you look like dwarf.
" Let's go to the jewelry shop, then." You rolled your eyes and Seb jumped witth glee. He held your hands and dashed to the nearest jewelry shop. He was excited but you dreaded it. Picking something for her gf instead of you is just downright sad.
Seb looked confusingly at the necklaces, bracelets and rings. You crossed your arms as you looked around too. Your heart is heavy just looking at Seb being so excited. You want him to be happy but not happier with her.
" Y/N, this ring looks nice." He showed you frosted rose gold ring.
" You're only 5 months with her, Seb. I think it's better to give her a necklace." You looked at the necklaces displayed. You eyes froze on the rose pendant necklace.
Seb noticed you watching dreamily to the necklace. He moved close beside you. You didn't notice him because you were imagining being gifted with that necklace from Seb. You smiled like an idiot just thinking about it.
" That one, please." He pointed the necklace you were staring at." You were taken aback.
" No." Your eyes bulged after you said the word. Seb looked at you and the man behind the counter.
" I mean... no way! No way! That's so cute." You playfully punched Seb on his toned arm.
" 0wwww." Seb just laughed.
You laughed along with him but inside you were already feeling pathetic.
The man gave Seb the necklace for a closer look.
" Y/N, turn around." You were feeling just out of it that you just followed his instruction.
Seb tied your hair into a ponytail.
You came back to your senses. You knew what will happen next. You didn't say a word but you wanted to confess.
" I just want to see how it looks like when actually worn. Ok, now, turn around again and face me."
You turned to him and comically did the "tada pose."
" You looked so good with it, Y/N. It's like it's made for you." He took out his phone and took a picture of you.
" What's wrong?" He always knows what you're feeling and you to him which makes it more depressing because you know he's in love with her.
You quickly took out the necklace ang gave it to the man. You can't stand Seb looking and talking to you like that at the moment. You just wanted to go home and cry in the shower.
" He'll take that one, Sir."
