I slowly open my eyes to let the bright light in.

I look up to see that I am standing under a tree.

I look down and notice that I am wearing a purple flowy sun dress and no shoes. My hair falls in my face and I can tell that it is acting as a free spirit.

I slightly scrunch up my toes to feel the evenly cut grass below me.

Slowly, I step out from under the tree to feel the full heat from the sun. I close my eyes and spread my arms out as the cool breeze flys past me, giving the weather the perfect temperature. I let a relaxed smile cross my face.

As I enjoy the feeling of the perfect weather, I hear light footsteps come from my right. I wait until the footsteps are no more to finally open my eyes again.

I look over to see a woman standing just a few feet away from me. She looks as though she had copied my look, same light skin, same dark brown hair, same green eyes, just older. The only difference was the dress color. Instead of hers being a purple like mine, it was a bright, white. It reminds me of an angel.

Even though I had never met this woman, I felt as though I had known her all my life. And I could trust her with every bone in my body.

She gave me a reassuring smile to which I smile back and slowly walk towards her.

She softly lifts her arm as a sign for me to take her hand, and I do.

She guides me over to a cliff in which I did not know was there. I carefully look down to see that there is crystal clear water. I look up at the woman to see her giving me the same smile she has kept on her face since I first looked at her.

I know that I am not afraid anymore. I look forward with a content smile, knowing that when I jump I will be taken to a better place, where I will be protected and cared for.

I don't even close my eyes as I step off the edge. I have never felt more free. I can feel the air rushing past me, but at the same time pushing me down as if it's helping me get to my destination faster. The destination that I have longed to go to for so long.

And now I am just a millisecond away.
