"And now, it's time for our last song!" I cheer.
"Thanks for coming everyone we've had an amazing time performing for you!" Rosemary continues.

(A/N: Please imagine that this is a duet)

"Thanks again for coming everyone!" We say before going backstage to get changed.
"We'd better hurry up, Rosemary. Those witches aren't going to kill themselves now are they?" I say smirking.
"They won't go near us Katty. You can count on twenty of me if a witch decides to run off. Wherever they turn, I'll be there!" Rose replies, also smirking.
I chuckle at her reply, "I'll hold you to that promise."

"So Survival Checklist: Grief Seeds?" I pause, "Geez I should know you by now - Of course you have grief seeds! Will we need more? Don't we already have enough as it is?" I ask.
"The more grief seeds we have with us, the lower our chances of becoming witches are. That's why, when we go on a witch hunt, we bring every single one we have. We've already had this conversation Rose." She lectures me while putting the last few grief seeds into her bag- along with her phone. "I'm ready. We can go now if you're ready." Kayla tells me.
"I've ALWAYS been ready. When have I never been ready?" I playfully roll my eyes.
"Ok then, since you're 'always ready' you can lead the way tonight." Katty teases.
"Chill, I was kidding. I don't actually wanna be the leader. I'm not the responsible one here." I counter.
"Ok let's go then." Kayla says, opening the door and walking outside.

KAYLA'S P.O.V.
"Finally the trail of a witch!" I sigh. It's been hours since we left my house and the only witches we have fought have been really weak ones.
"You wouldn't complain about it if I was a witch." Rose replies sarcastically.
"You wouldn't live to become a witch or have you seriously forgotten our promise?" I respond harshly. I don't want to see Rosemary become a witch. She's the only one I have left besides my eight year old younger sister and when we teamed up as magical girls, we promised that we wouldn't let each other become witches - even if it meant killing each other.
"The promise, I got it. I was just trying to make you realise that even the weakest of witches can count towards your soul gem turning dark." She lectures me.
"I know but it doesn't make the fights any less boring." I complain heading towards the direction of the witch. When we reach the entrance of the labyrinth, we transform into our magical girl outfits and summon our weapons. I use wired gloves and Rose uses her staff. Upon entering the labyrinth, I can't help but notice how there were anime references covering everywhere. Our looking around gets cut short though when the witch and her familiars race towards us.
"Be careful!" I warn Rose feeling an un-nerving feeling that shakes me to my soul.  Immediately, Rose creates solid illusion clones while I create a gigantic gun by remembering it's chemical makeup and take aim but she dodges. Rose and her clones attack her with her staff but the witch dodges all of those attacks too. The witch then shoots different coloured beams everywhere but where they land, holes are made. "Hey could you please distract her while I try to get close. I think it would be a lot easier to kill this witch if she can't shoot at us from a close distance?" I ask, preparing to swing towards the witch. "On it." Rose replies, creating an illusion showing some of the saddest anime deaths to gain her attention. This plan works up until the point when I almost touch her and she grabs me in one hand and hurls me into one of the holes. Crap. Before anything else can happen the witch does the same to Rose but when I was about to check on her, I suddenly felt incredibly light headed. Sleep overtakes the both of us incredibly quickly and my last thought before passing out was, "Damn it!"
