Amelia's POV
Two days later.

I woke up shortly after my nap to a nurse coming in. "Hello Amelia, I'll be your nurse for the day. My name is Liam. I'll write my name and number up on the bored so you can message me when your iv's are finished. I am putting you on normal saline to help your kidneys work harder and I'll be giving you some pain medication to help with the pain from the car accident. Do you have any questions?" Liam said to me.  "I do actually. Um do you know what my test results of my kidney function is? Nobody ever told me and that was two days ago." I replied sitting up so he can place a new IV in my arm. He walked over to me with sad eyes taking out my old IV to replace it with a new one. "Yes I actually do. Your kidney function was very low. Your doctor will be in to discuss what things you'd want to do. You have a few options. You could do dialysis, go on about your day like nothing even happened and continue getting sick and blacking out, or a kidney transplant." He said without looking at me focusing on the IV. "If I was your family. What would you suggest to do?" I questioned him. We sat in silence for a while before he looked up at me. "If you where my family I would suggest dialysis until you can get a kidney." He said sadly. Almost like he's been through it before. I clear my throat and speak up. "Tell me if I'm out of line. But have you ever had this happen to a loved one or yourself?"   He stopped what he was doing and looked over at me. "You aren't out of line. But yes. Ive been through this. And my best mate has cancer. He goes through similar things. It just saddens me that the best people have to go through this." He sighed. "I'm sorry you went through this. And I'm also very sorry about your mate. I'm sure he will be okay. Just gotta stay positive right?" I paused and started again "do you mind if we stay in touch while I'm going through my dialysis?"  He looked up at me "ofcourse. I don't mind one bit." he said smiling at me. "Thank you. It helps to know someone who has been through it ya know?" I said smiling back at the taller man in front of me. "That would be fine with me Amelia" he said giving me his phone so I can put my contact info in. I quickly put my number and added my name to his contacts taking a picture and putting it as my contact photo. I handed him his phone back as he was leaving to get the doctor to discuss treatments. Soon after he left I got a text message. It read "Hi Amelia it's Liam!" I sent a smiley face back as the doctor came in. I sighed and put my phone down. We decided on doing dialysis right away. So he wheeled me to the dialysis room and I sat in a chair seeing as I was feeling better from the accident. I smiled at the doctor whose name I didn't catch. "Thank you doctor" I said. "You're welcome ma'am" he replied before walking off. I looked out the window counting the squares on the side of the building.

Niall's POV

I arrived at the hospital to do my weekly round of chemo. I really hope it's working. This is getting tiring having to stay weeks in the hospital for chemo. I sighed as I walked into the building and going to my chemo room. I sat down as the nurse hooked me up to my monitor(I'm not sure if this is really how it happens but I'm going to make it happen like this for the sake of the fic). "Your all set. I'll bring you lunch in a bit" the nurse said to me. I smiled and said "thank you love" and she was gone. I looked out the window and saw a very pretty girl on the other side of the hospital. She looked sad. I wonder what's wrong with her and if she will be okay. My mind wondered back to the girl I saw a few days ago in they car accident. I wondered where she is and if she's okay. That's when the girl from the other side of the hospital looked at me.
