When Teena suggested that she and Lando should spend a weekend in Monte Carlo so he could get to know her hometown, he was more than excited to go sightseeing as all he got to see on race weekend was the track and the hotel. It was average weather in the country of Monaco, it wasn't too cold to the point where they couldn't do anything but it wasn't too warm to the point where they would get frustrated over everything.
Charlotte and Charles offered for the couple to stay in their apartment for the weekend, and as she had known Charlotte for years and her cousin was Charles, she agreed. It also meant that Lando could get to know Charles better considering he knew that he was his girlfriend's cousin and she saw a lot of them as it was.
"Morning sleepyheads." Charles smiles as Lando and Teena emerge into the kitchen fully dressed for the day.
"Morning to you too." Teena replies, sitting down beside Charlotte at the kitchen counter. The two girls shared a soft hug as Lando and Charles did their 'bro' handshake, both of them discussing the up and coming season whilst the two girls discussed all sorts.
"What are your plans for the day?" Charles asks.
"I think she's just taking me sightseeing, and to see her parents." Lando responds.
"Ah yes, the annual Blaise family dinner. They do it every year at the hotel, the table looks out across the harbour and it's honestly breathtaking." Charles smiles.
"I take it you're going too?" Lando asks.
"Yeah, there's going to be a lot of our family around so I hope you know some french." Charles looks at him, watching the boy nod softly.

Lando smiled softly as he sat across from his girlfriend in a cafe she'd taken them too, the two of them patiently waiting for a waiter to arrive to take their order. He thought a little more about what Charles had told him this morning about 'knowing some French' so he decided to get lessons from his one and only.
"Teach me French." Lando speaks up.
"You wanna learn French?" She asks.
"I'd like to know what you're saying when you rant to yourself y'know." He laughs softly.
"Okay then... let's start with some basics." Teena smiles.
"Don't even teach me how to say hello." Lando laughs.
"Well you say it in a British accent, mon amour, if you wanna learn French you have to perfect the accent." Teena laughs.
