Maria's POV
Me and Amelia are at the movie theater. I finally got the courage to ask her out. She said yes.
So of course I'm already excited (also a little nervous) about that. And like any person would do, I asked her on a date with a scary movie playing. I also found out Amelia gets freaked out easily.
She jumps when a person screams, then she finds my hand and holds it. I feel my face grow hot but I smile as I hold her hand tightly. Good thing everything's dark so you can't see my tomato red face. That's another good thing about movie theaters.
Later on, a giant jumpscare comes on and Amelia quietly yelps, jumping out of her seat and ending up in my lap. I just chuckle as she stays close to me. Slowly, she's laying her head on my shoulder. Finally, as there was one more jumpscare, she jumps, laying her forehead on mine.
Then, everything goes black, and I feel Amelia's soft lips press against mine.
Best movie date ever.
