The kingdom of Asgard is all of beauty, gold that stretches to the northern lights of the stars and beyond. Simple, this kingdom was, for they only believed themselves to be a truly blessed kingdom with a history of everything going their way. Little the people of Asgard knew.

Heimdall on the other hand, the watcher of the universe, and guardian of Asgard, knew the events to take place, and pitied the Royal family of Asgard.

Thor was the first one to arrive at the beautiful gardens his mother often visited in her spare time, the blonde warrior striving with the almighty Mjolnir in his hands, be he tough and wise, some of the time. Thor spotted his beloved mother, the Queen of Asgard. The Queen stands to her feet, "Thor," she says with a loving smile, a hand to caress his face, "greetings mother, Loki should be on his way any minute now," he says. His mother chuckles, "I'm sure."

Loki steps from behind a bush, "finally, we've been waiting for a millenia," the raven states. The Queen peers over at him, "don't be silly, Loki. We've only been waiting for an hour," she says, giving Thor a look. The warrior gives a smile, "I apologize, mother. I wasn't given the message until after Lady Sif and I were training," he says, giving his mother's cheek a kiss.

The Queen sits on the bench, "sit with me, I must discuss something with the two of you," she says, her smile seeming a bit strained, but she needed to tell them.

The two princes sat with their mother. "My sons, it has been nice in this peaceful life, I've raised two beautiful boys to be who they are, and they're both off, going to make families for themselves," the Queen says, looking to Loki "you and Sif getting eloped, finally" she stressed, making the raven son smile. The woman looks at Thor, "you and Jane expecting," she says, "I'm gonna be a grandmother soon," she says, wiping a tear away from her eye, "and I wanna be there for all of it."

The second son grabs his mother's hand, "what is it?" Knowing his mother was on the verge of something. The Queen looks at their hands, going to hold Thor's as well.

"Me and your father are separating."
