My body felt sweaty, it's so hot and felt annoying.

"Who- who opened the blinds... It's too hot in here" I wriggled in my bed while trying to reach for the curtains to close it.  My bed was right beside the window, did I forgot to close the curtains last night? I'm pretty sure I double checked everything...

"Good morning, Miss Eunha. Your loyalness wishes to see you at the Bright Winter Palace" A sudden voice of an elder lady can be heard, and it spooked me awake. I turned towards the figure of the elder lady, who is getting nice clothes ready for me to change into.

I released a frustrated sigh, "That guy always "wishes" to see me. Doesn't he have anything else to do aside of telling me bugging me everyday?" I got up to the window to close the curtains, but paused as I saw at the breathtaking view of the sea outside of my home.

"Good morning, The L'olonnais Tides" I whispered with a smile before aggressively closes the curtains and got out from my bed.

"Here, I prepared this for today" The lady handed me a nice brown leather leather jacket, white t-shirt and jeans. Eunha takes it with a smile, "Thanks, Madam Shin". Madam Shin is a lady that works for the palace. She usually runs errands outside the palace though, which is kind of... surprising. Well, that is why this guardian guy is always ordering her to call me all the way here.

I got ready quickly, styling my long silky black hair in a bun. I opened my drawers to reveal a golden locket in the middle of my other accessories. I paused for a bit, staring at the locket.

It was a picture of us together when we were kids, at one of the hill we went together to search for herbs at the Dark Fall District. It was a long journey that day.

"I miss you" I whispered in my heart.

"You should get going now, Eunha. You wouldn't want to keep the guardian waiting" Madam Shin opened the door, inviting me to go outside. I turned to her with a slight nod, grabbing the locket and wearing it around my neck, "coming!"

[At the Bright Winter Palace]

I stopped in front of the guards that protects the entrance to the palace, "Cha Eunha. Chani called for me" I said simply and the guards answer with a nod, allowing me to get pass. They are already far too familiar with me, even though I'm a normal villager, the guardian of the Bright Winter District have instructed everyone that I will be in "utter protection".

Not that I needed it though.

My footsteps echoes through the hallway of the palace. It's walls and ceiling decorated with bright blue colours, water splash sculptures every here and there. Living up to our district's name, the palace has glass snowflakes embedded in it's structure.

"You're here" A figure of a young man stood at the other end of the hall. Dressed in an all black attire, as all guardians are to do so, with caramel brown hair, he started walking towards me.

I greeted him with a small bow, "Calling me first thing in the morning is the most Chani thing you do, your loyalness"

He cracked a giggle, "I have a whole explaining to do, aren't I?" He said as we started walking together towards the main conference room. It's the space in the palace that has the best aerial view of the whole district, and we usually hang out there.

Kang Chanhee, or what I usually call him as Chani, is one of the 7 Guardians of Borders, and his orders is to be obeyed throughout the whole Bright Winter District, the border that is a part with the second sea, The L'olonnais Tides. Guardians are to be respected and loyal to, even if this country is divided by 7 Borders, everyone in Caseidon is under the protection of all the Guardians of Borders.
