+ This is what makes us girls
We all look for heaven and we put our love first
Somethin' that we'd die for, it's our curse
Don't cry about it, don't cry about it +

I closed my locker as I walked down the hallways long corridor. My best friend, Hayes at my side. We were planning on hanging out after school today.

"So there's a party at Vera's next Friday. You gonna go?" I ask him.

He looks down at the screen of his phone with a confused expression.

"Me? Yeah? What the hell kind of question is that?"

"I just wasn't sure if you were up for it since, you know-" I stop dead sentence when he suddenly gives me a glare as to if I better shut the hell up right now.

"Just a fact man." I say as we continue walking.

"More like is she up for it. Ever since her mom passed, her and her brother stopped throwing ragers." He speaks.

"Yeah, she was all about it though once Natalie helped me convince her."

"So Natalie, what's her story?" He asks, as he slips his phone into his back pocket.

"Have no clue. She's hard to figure out. But she's hot." I say with a smirk, thinking of her ass when she went on that run with me.

"Tons of new people come into this school every year and Vera has never shown interest in one until her. Why?" He asks. He almost looks annoyed.

He looked back down at his phone and sighed, throwing it in his bag, not caring about who ever was calling him.

"Dude, what does it matter? Are you pissed Vera let her in without telling you?"

He huffs and crosses his arms as he scans the hallways.

"I just wished she would have let me know is all. We've never just let people in, it doesn't work that way. Especially under circumstances." He tells me, staring me dead in the eye.

"So? You let Jordan in? And that definitely wasn't the best time." I respond.

"And look what happened, Sean!" He snaps. "This isn't happening again."

I looked away, realizing I just needed to give him some space. I noticed his eyebrows started to furrow in annoyance or something. A sly smirk crept on his face as we turned the corner of the double entrance. As we rounded the corner, Hayes eyed me as a few hot blond Sophomores passed through. They stared at us, as they giggled, one girl pulled her skirt a little higher so her legs would be exposed so we would notice.

And it really fucking worked.

"You know what, a party might be the perfect idea for friday.." He trails as he watches them pass by.

"Looks like we have to get us a date." I say biting my lip.

Just as those words left my mouth, I look over to see a guy talking to Natalie. He was a senior, Parker James. He was flirting overboard with Natalie. She threw her head back in laughter as he crossed his big steroid arms and gave her that stupid look he always has on his face.

I looked back to see Hayes expression, but he had run off with that sophomore. Every time he gets worked up, he finds some girl to get his mind off things. Just about every girl has hooked up with him. A lot from other schools, and always as fine as the next.

I walk down the hallway, I can feel the eyes of plenty of girls in front of me. I must admit, it never gets old.    I have to pick and choose carefully who I'm seen with. This school is huge but you get with one wrong girl and they just want to eat your reputation alive. The younger girl's like to run their mouth and tell their friends. Like last year, I hit Hannah Jacobs SUV when I was backing out of  the gym. I gave her my number to settle the costs of the damage, and she told her entire female colony that we were talking. I try and just steer clear of her in the halls now.
