"Medicine." Ep. 1

"Okay dear, take your daily medicine, it's beside the toaster. I have to head out to work." she kissed Yamaguchi's head, shutting the front door. Yamaguchi was a very antisocial kid. He was homeschooled, and never seen outside before.

The windows were boarded up, and the doors were locked. He had no phone, no computer, nothing. He usually read, or drew.

{Yamaguchi POV}

I usually wonder what it's like outside, the photos in books are super beautiful but i'd like to see them in reality. The animals, seasons, and fresh air. I only have air conditioning. It's my 14th birthday soon; In about 3 months.

I am gonna ask mom to go..somewhere. Anywhere outside! She says I'm special, and humanity would hurt and hunt me down. But I don't think so. I can do something special! Did you know that?

I'm able to transform the adams in my body to create super adams. Kinda. A demon power up you could call it? I guess. It enhances my 5 senses, speed, strength, flying ability, etc.

Although I only did it a few times. I have to be triggered..you could say. Loud noises, like gunshots, or I have to be absolutely fuming with rage.

I get 2-3 hours of sleep each night, waking up in the morning for physical training. Like push-ups, pull-ups, etc. My body has gotten way stronger than last month.

I'm finally able to lift the fridge.

Mom has a macbook in the living room. Yet I cannot figure out the password. So today, I'd try to figure out what pills I've been taking.

They have changed over time, and once the bottle said my mom's name. Not mine, so I found it suspicious. One is called 'Modafinil' but I have no clue what It's for.

The other 2 are 'antidepressants' and 'Methamphetamine'.

{3rd person POV}

Yamaguchi sat down on the black, leather office chair, slicking his hair back. Turning on the PC. It made a whirring sound in the air, making the silence break.

It turned on with a bright light, and then the box to enter the PIN. He tried everything: 0485, 3827, 5068, 2648, 0000, 0563, 0183, etc. He then thought of possible combinations.

Birthday years, his birthday, etc. Then it hit him. The combination to the house. 3466. He entered the PIN and the computer started thinking. Yamaguchi watched the dots roll in a circle.

The front desk appeared, files and apps lined the sides. A huge smile widened across his face, grabbing the mouse tight in hand. He clicked the search bar, grabbing the first bottle of pills.

'Modafinil'. He entered the name into the search bar and clicked 'enter'. The line circle spun once more, waiting for the results. Finally, a white box appeared.

It read; "Modafinil is used to treat excessive sleepiness caused by narcolepsy (a condition that causes excessive daytime sleepiness) or shift work sleep disorder (sleepiness during scheduled waking hours and difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep during scheduled sleeping hours in people who work at night or on rotating."

His smile faded. What? His mom has been feeding him sleeping pills so he gets no sleep.. Okay... next pill.

He then searched; "Methamphetamine." It once again searched..slowly. It felt like forever when the white box appeared again.

It read; "Methamphetamine belongs to a class of drugs known as stimulants. It can help increase your ability to pay attention, stay focused on an activity, and control behavior problems. It may also help you to organize your tasks and improve listening skills."
