Guys, this chapter may seem boring but its important as it has avneet's past.
Like Austin and Sid, Avneet and Olivia also met at college but their story wasn't simple like Austin and Sid's, it wasn't a good and happy one.
Avneet and her best friend Mia met in the first year of college, they were like sisters. In the second year, they met Olivia and found her similar like them. And gradually the group of two became three. Avneet was very close to Olivia but not as much as Mia, but still she treated them equally.
Avneet had a huge crush on the baddest boy of college Liam, he was her project partner. They were working on a physics project together and spent a lot of time with each other in that period. One day, Liam proposed to her in front of the entire college.
For Avneet it was like a dream come true so obviously she said yes. Liam was a playboy so she had some trust issues but Liam made her believe that he's changed.
Flashback...
It was almost an year now and avneet started believing Liam blindly. She used to spend most of her time with him and so she forgot its Mia's Birthday. She was in canteen with Liam when Oli came
"I can't believe you are our bestie " she said banging her hand on table
"What happened oli " avneet stood up
"Do you remember what day it is?"oli asked controlling her anger
"Saturday, duh " avneet said casually
"Its Mia's Bday and that girl is crying just because her sister cum bestie forgot her special day for the first time. And her best friend is busy in kissing her boyfriend " oli bursted and left
"Babe, you go and spend some time with Mia. Okay? She deserves your time and attention today " liam smiled at her
"Okay, I'll go and check on her. She must be very upset. It just slipped out of my mind that it's her birthday. I'll be back in sometime " avneet packed his lips and left
She started searching Mia but didn't find her so she went and sat in her class.
After 10 mins, Mia came running in class
"What happened Mia ?" Teacher asked
"Sir, I'm here to take Avneet. There's a phone call for her at reception " she said
"Please go Avneet " avneet nodded and left.
As soon as they were out of the class avneet hugged her tightly.
"Where were you Mi?I searched for you everywhere " avneet asked " I'm so sorry I forgot your birthday, happy birthday babe "
"Avi, forget this. Listen to me very clearly" Mia said with teary eyes
"What happened Mi, why are you crying?" Avneet asked
"Please break up with Liam, he's not good for you infact he's not good for anyone " mia held her hands
"What rubbish are you saying Mi"? Avneet jerked her hands.
"Avneet try to understand. Today in girl's room he tried to ki-kiss me forcefully " tears rolled out of her eyes
"St-stop lying Mia " Avneet said
"Avi, don't you trust me ?"
"I do but that doesn't mean I will believe anything you say " avneet said
"Trust me avi, please " mia pleaded
"Now I get it, you're jealous. Jealous of the fact that the hottest boy chose me, you're jealous that I'm in a happy relationship. That's why you're creating this misunderstanding between us, so that I break up with him. But guess what Ms. Mia, I didn't fall for your fake tears " avneet said and left.
Mia ran to washroom and broke down. It was her birthday today, it was supposed to be a happy day. But on thay very day she lost her best friend, her faith in friendship. She called Oli
"Hey Mi "
"Ol-oli where are you?" She stuttered.
"Mi, I got a call from home, so I left. What happened why are you talking like this?"
"Av-Avneet " she tried to tell her but failed and started crying
"Avneet? What avneet? Is she okay? " oli asked worriedly
"Yeah " she said while crying
"Then what is it Mia, you're scaring me now " oli said
"Meet me outside college ASAP " she said
"Okay, I'm coming. You stop crying okay?"
"Okay " she hung up
With avneet,
She reached home and went straightly toward her room. She scattered everything and started crying. Suddenly she got a call from Oli but she declined, oli called her again so she picked it up
"Avneet Kaur, where the hell are you?" Oli yelled
"I'm not in mood so came back at home" avneet said
"See avneet I don't know what happened between you and mia but come here asap" oli said
"Oli, I said I'm not in mood " avneet said
"I don't care about your fucking mood. Come. Here. Right. Now" oli yelled "please for me "
"Okay fine I'm coming " she said and hung up
Avneet reached college and saw oli standing there.
"What is it?" She asked
"Oli called me here an hour ago, and she isn't here yet " oli said worriedly
"So what " avneet scoffed
"So what? Seriously? I searched her everywhere, she is bloody missing and you're saying so what?"
"She is missing?" Avneet asked is shock
"Yes, now tell me what happened between you two and then help me find her " oli said
