Lost essence

I was damaged right from birth,
The veil that guards my soul was perforated,
My essence oozed out of me, and the passing masses stopped to scoop, what was meant for my well being.

Those around me thrived off of my pain and suffering, driven by their greed, none could stop to wonder what it felt like to be me!
Those I loved did not care for my plight. Friend and for alike rejoiced in my suffering,

Day after day, they scheemed in secret how they would trap me and steal away my spiritual treasure, for themselves and their children after them.

But now I sigh in relief, for I have learned to fight back and reclaim what was always mine.
