"Kuroo?"

The boys who were carefully listening all gasped and started to whisper.

"So... what made you call me? You miss me already?" He asks. You could almost see the smirk he had while he said that.

"Don't get too cocky." You said teasingly.

"Okay then. Why did you call me?" He asks again.

You begin to get nervous and looked at everyone. "Hurry up! Ask him out!" Noya whisper shouted.

"Hello?" You hear from the phone.

"I- uh sorry. Um will you go on a date with me?" You ask. The team watched eagerly waiting for his response.

"REALLY! Oh I mean of course. I knew you'd ask me." Kuroo said trying to sound cool which made you giggle.

"Wait, so that's a yes?" You ask.

"Yeah, of course. We can go to my favorite science museum!" He says excitedly.

"...Kuroo." You said in a dissatisfied tone.

"I'm kiddinggg. We can go to this nice cafe. I'm 100 percent sure that you'll love it." He says. At first it was because of the dare that you asked him, but deep down you feel excited knowing that you're going. Your thoughts get interrupted by Kuroo, "but if I'm being honest I really thought that you were already dating someone."

Your eyebrows slightly furrow at his statement.

"Really? Who?" You ask.

"Tsukishima."

Your eyes go wide and you look up at Tsuki to see him blushing with wide eyes. You quickly turn down the volume on the phone and take it off of speaker so no one can hear anything else. You hold the phone up to your ear. "Hey!" Noya whispers, obviously wanting to listen.

"W-What made you think that?" Your face was clearly heating up.

"It seems like the boy really likes you. I mean, you know him, he's not the nicest. But he seems completely different around you. At the party I could see you guys looking at each other in a way that 'just friends' don't. I've known him for a while and have never seen him like this once."

You were in shock. You try to speak but you cant find any words to say anything.

"But hey, that means that you're not together which is a win for me, huh?" Kuroo says happily.

"(y/n) what's going on?!" Noya whispered.

"What is he saying?" Tanaka asks.

You look up away from the floor at Tsuki who looks confused as hell.

Kuroo then spoke again, "alright, well, I'll pick you up tomorrow afternoon at 8 if that sounds good."

"Oh, uh yeah that's fine." You say looking around the room.

"I'm looking forward to seeing you again (y/n). Have a good night and get some good sleep." He says before hanging up.
