Many days passed, yet Jisoo couldn't even initiate a proper conversation with her love-interest. The younger girl herself was reserved and silent most of the time they were together arranging books. But nonetheless, the taller one doesn't really fancy talking.

Both are still in an eerie silence, for Jisoo that is. Chaeyoung kept arranging the books back to the shelf while Jisoo zoned out as she stared at the younger one out of curiosity.

"Are you done?"

Jisoo flinched and dropped the book she was holding and eventually hit her left foot. It wasn't even a thin book, it was one of the hardbound covered book that has more than one thousand pages.

"Ughh!" She yelped and crouched down holding her aching foot.

Chaeyoung, on the other hand, snapped her head towards the older girl the moment she heard her yelp. She immediately ran beside her and went check her foot.

"Can you curl your toes?" She asked while removing the latter's shoe.

Meanwhile, Jisoo already had forgotten the pain and was now focusing on Chaeyoung's hands on her foot. She's not sure anymore whether it still hurts or not 'cuz surely for her Chaeyoung's hands were like ointment.

"Jisoo?"

"I-I'm sorry. . ." She mumbled out. "I-It hurts a bit but I can manage to walk, I think."

"Okay, let me see you walk."

Chaeyoung helped her up and was about to let go when Jisoo cried out in pain making her hug the latter instantly.

"This is what you call walking?"

The taller girl's question turned Jisoo into a blushing mess—much redder than earlier. Not only that, she's also hugging her crush right now. A big red stoplight was now emerging.

'I don't know whether I should be happy or not.' Biting her lower lip to stop herself from smiling Jisoo thought. 'It's painful! Yet, I'm so happy!'

"Wait. Hold on to the shelf."

Chaeyoung commanded making Jisoo obey her in an instant. She then crouched down while her back was facing the injured girl.

"Come on."

Jisoo was so flustered that she couldn't hold back her smile anymore. She's obviously happy that she got hurt.

"I'm h-heavy."

Chaeyoung just gave a side glance before looking forward. "Piggy back? or Bridal style? Choose."

"W-What?!"

Surely she heard the latter wrong. Not to mention a sound in the library echoed three times. Even if she heard it right, she still couldn't believe that her crush was  offering to carry her.

"Want me to choose for you?"

Jisoo hurriedly jumped on Chaeyoung's back as she buried her burning face on the latter's soft hair. She obviously doesn't want the taller girl to see her red face.

As Chaeyoung was walking across the empty hall slowly, Jisoo's mind went to wonderland again.

'A dream that I don't want to wake up from ever.'

As they were passing by the empty corridor, Jisoo couldn't help but think about how loud her heart was beating. She leaned back giving a good amount of distance just to avoid Chaeyoung feeling any rapid drumming against her back.

"What are you doing? You'll fall back if you lean away."

Jisoo became flustered again and bit her lower lip.
