I wake up in a room that looks to be a hollow redwood tree. It is empty. The only piece of furniture in the room is a desk. On the desk there is a green dress, beige apron, leather hat, and brown boots. What a boring look. Who would possibly wear that? She must be poor.
Next to the outfit was a book and pen. That must belong to the girl with a terrible fashion choice. What's in the book? I wonder in my head. I'm about to get up and walk to the book when I realize- oh no. The dress, boots, hat and apron belong to me! I'm the poor one! I'm the one with a terrible fashion choice! I set the look aside and look around to make sure nobody is coming. I stand up then run to the desk. I quickly slip the dress over my head and on my body, pull the boots on, squeeze the hat onto my head and tie the apron around my waist.
"I need to get out of here!" I whisper ashamed that someone stripped me while I was sleeping. I look around and see no door, but a ladder. That is my only possibility of getting out of here so I pick up the book, shove it in the large pocket on my apron and start climbing. I climb and climb till I finally reach the top. This time there was a door, there was furniture and there was a way out!
I rip open the door and see two men standing there- not waiting for me to try to escape but returning from harvesting the garden or something like that. In a panic I rush past them and down a long flight of stairs into the forest. I hide behind the biggest tree in sight. I stand there for a moment then remember the book. I reach into my pocket and open it. On the cover it has one word: Ava. I believe that is my name yet I can't remember it at all. I look around and don't remember the things surrounding me either. I look into my past and again, don't find anything. That's when I realize............I am lost.
